Your instructor will guide you through the pre-flight inspection and prepare the aircraft for takeoff. After advising air traffic control of your intentions, your instructor will walk you through taxiing the aircraft to the runway, making final pre-flight checks and then taking off!
Shortly after take-off you'll take controls and experience the thrill of flight! On a clear day, your flight will offer great views of the lake, the mountains to the north and the Atlanta skyline to the west.
So prepare for an unforgettable experience, and come learn to fly!
1 Hour Flight Option:
This experience allows enough time for the participant to really get a feel for flying and comfortably use the controls of the airplane while flying around the local area.

Essential Information:
Participants may bring up to 2 guests to ride as passengers; however the maximum total weight for student + guests is 400 lbs.
Duration:
1 hour flight options.
Maximum Participants:
1 student and up to 2 passengers; however, the total weight of both the student and the passengers must be no more than 400 lbs.
Spectators:
Up to 2 passengers may come along for the flight, so long as the total weight of the student and passengers is no more than 400 lbs. Additional spectators may come to the airport to watch or take pictures of take-off or landing.
Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.
What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions, closed-toe shoes, and sunglasses are highly recommended.
Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 5 days in advance.
Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, rescheduling is allowed with at least 72 hours notice to your experience provider. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
