View FAQ's >

  1. Do I need to know how to drive manual (stick shift) transmission?
No. The vehicles used are all paddle shift equipped. Paddle shift allows the driver to change gears without taking his or her hands off the steering wheel. Paddles are located directly behind the steering wheel, and cars equipped with paddle shift do not have a clutch pedal. Also, drivers may choose to operate the vehicle in "automatic" mode.
  2. Are there any restrictions on who can do this experience?
Participants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license. Also, customers over 6'2" may have difficulty comfortably or safely driving the Lamborghini. However, for those above 6'2" there are other exotic vehicles such as the Ferrari which may fit better - please see those experience listings or contact Cloud 9 Living with any questions.
  3. Do I need any prior racing experience?
    No experience is required.
  4. Will I be in the car alone while I am driving?
No, you will be driving with a professional driving instructor in the passenger seat providing coaching and feedback.
  5. Will I be following a pace car while on the track?
No, there will not be a pace car.  However, other participants will be on the track.
  6. Are snacks or refreshments available at the track?
Yes, snacks and refreshments are available for purchase at the merchandise trailer at the track.
  7. What is the Driver Release Fee?
Included in the cost of this experience is a $35 Driver Release Fee which provides that the driver will not be responsible for most damage to the car resulting from an incident at the track. Only in the event that a driver intentionally or negligently fails to follow the clear instructions of the in-car instructor which leads to an incident or crash will the driver be responsible for damage to a vehicle.

"A minor suggestion that might make the experience even better: if the instructor drives the first lap, maybe two, then let the student drive the course for his/her 6 laps. It would be more beneficial to see the correct driving line before trying to drive it and be instructed on it at the same time."

"When my wife purchased the experience, it was not explained to her that dates were extremely limited. I had to wait a year to make my drive. The track laid out was too short and there were no diagrams of the layout so drivers could get familiar with track before starting. The track was so short, the pro driver did not want me to shift out of 2nd gear. The helmet was too small. I was told that was the largest helmet they had. I was given no information about the car before the drive started. I would do the experience again but would hope: *A longer track would/should be laid out allowing gear shifting beyond 2nd gear. *A printed diagram of the track would be passed out to novice drivers to allow familiarization of layout before drive started. * Six laps is not long enough to allow novice driver to get familiar with track layout or car. *Pro driver would relate characteristics of the car before starting. *Somewhat larger and more comfortable helmets should be available. Again it was a great experience, but could have been better. I would do it again if some of the above statements would be considered. "

"I thought we would be on the actual race track. Turned out to be a much smaller inside track, and we were limited in speed on the road course. Everyone was super-nice and made sure we were taken care of. Great bunch of instructors. I still enjoyed it very much, but would probably not do it again."
