Description:
When you learn to paddle safely, you'll get more out of your time on the water. You will find that kayaking is an amazing way to explore the Bay, and with better skills, the opportunities are endless.

This fun instructional program focuses on dealing with capsize recovery. We will teach you a variety of skills and techniques necessary to successfully complete a variety of self and assisted rescues in a kayak. Learning these skills is a must for the safety conscious paddler. This clinic is also a great primer for those learning to Eskimo Roll.

A 4-hour session with education and a lot of hands-on practice; this is a great place to experiment and develop what techniques work best for you, in your boat, with your gear. This class will provide the average kayaker the necessary tools to make the most of his or her days on the water.

Remember, a smart paddler is a safe paddler!

Availability:
April - November. 7 days a week.

Essential Information:
Ages 6 to 9 must be in a 2 person kayak accompanied by an adult.

Tour includes kayak, paddle, PFD, basic instruction, beverage, and high energy snack.

Duration:
4 hours

Maximum Participants:
Up to 6 participants

Spectators:
Not Allowed

Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.

What to Wear:
For this experience sunscreen, sunglasses, a brimmed hat, water shoes or water sandals, and quick drying shorts and shirt not cotton are recommended. Because you may get wet, you'll also want to bring a change of clothes. Don't forget the sunscreen!

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 14 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
