Description:
A Boston landmark, the Charles River plays host to the famous Head of the Charles Regatta and has been featured in movies such as Good Will Hunting, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The River Wild.

You will start with an introduction to kayaking covering basic technique and safety, and then launch for a guided paddle on the Charles River. While exploring, your guide will discuss the river's place in Boston.

You'll experience a less-urban setting, with parkland and Harvard University along the banks.

Upon return to the docks, you will sit down and enjoy some delicious barbecue catered by Rebones Barbeque, a Boston area tradition for over 20 years. The perfect combination of nature, relaxation and food!

Essential Information:
All participants must be at least 18 years old. You will be on the water between 1-1.5 hours and will paddle about 2-3 miles.

Your double kayak, food and beverages are included.

The BBQ includes: pork ribs, BBQ chicken, pulled pork, rolls, baked beans, mashed potatoes and coleslaw.

Duration:
3 hours total, you will be on the water between 1-1.5 hours

There may be up to 14 people on this tour

Not allowed

Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.

What to Wear:
Wear layers of clothing that can be taken off and put on. Cotton clothing is not recommended. All layers should retain as little of water as possible, with your outer shell being waterproof.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 14 days in advance of intended date of use.

Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
