Description:
Head for the Seaport District and step aboard the Spirit of Boston for a lunchtime experience on historic Boston Harbor.

When you step aboard, you will be greeted by a crew member who will kindly escort you to your seat. From here, feel free to order drinks and relax at your table or start to explore the ship along our outdoor strolling decks.

During the dining part of the cruise, you are free to make as many visits to the Grande Buffet as you wish. While you eat, we'll entertain you with a fascinating narrated tour of Boston Harbor as well as some impressive renditions of your favorite tunes.

Summertime Lobster Lunch Cruise: From June through September 25th, all Friday and Saturday lunch cruises will be Lobster Lunch Cruises. First, you'll wait staff will invite you up to the Grande Buffet where you can help yourself to a wonderful array of fresh salads, entrees and side dishes. Then freshly steamed lobsters will be delivered at your table for each guest, along with hot drawn butter, lobster bibs and cracking tools. What a treat!

Availability:
Year round; Spring, Summer and Fall months based on availability.

Departure times range from 11:00AM to 12:30PM with boarding beginning at least 30 minutes prior to departure.

Rates may not apply for holiday and specialty cruises.

From June through September 25th, all Friday and Saturday lunch cruises will be Lobster Lunch Cruises and additional rates will apply.

Essential Information:
Please arrive 30 minutes before scheduled departure. Coffee, tea and iced tea are complimentary. You may also purchase juices, sodas, mixed drinks, fine liqueurs, specialty waters, champagne and exceptional wines. Rates are inclusive of taxes and gratuities.

Grande Buffet includes:

Salads - California Baby Lettuce, Italian Pasta Salad and Classic Potato Salad

Entrees - Wild Alaskan Salmon, Roasted Herb Chicken, Asian Beef Stir Fry and Three Cheese Pasta Bake

Dessert - Traditional New York Style Cheesecake and Sweet Chocolate Mousse Truffle

The cruise lasts 2 hours; however, boarding begins 30 minutes before cruise departure.

The cruise ship can accommodate up to 500 people.

This experience takes place indoors and will not be affected by weather conditions.

What to Wear:
For men, slacks and a collared shirt are recommended. For women, nice slacks, Capri pants or a dress is recommended.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings 5 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given but rescheduling your dinner cruise is allowed up to 72 hours prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date, cancel, or reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.

  1. What is the dress code?
    For daytime cruises, relaxed, casual attire is fine.
  2. What is "Boarding Time" and "Cruise Time"?
    "Boarding Time" is the earliest our guests may board the ship. Typically we begin boarding 1/2 hour prior to the "Cruise Time."
  3. What is typical cruising time?
    Departure times, occasionally, are subject to a slight change. Specialty cruises, such as holidays, may be subject to additional fees.

  4. Can you hold a reservation and pay later?
    We do not hold reservations without payment.
  5. Are there any age requirements?
    Children of all ages are welcome on our dinner cruises.
  6. Where does the cruise go?
    Our ship departs from the Seaport World Trade Center Marine Terminal in Boston. While sailing routes may vary, the cruise past the city skyline as far north as the Mystic River and as far south as Castle Island/Fort Independence.
  7. How do I get to the ship?
    The ship is located at the intersection of Seaport Boulevard and B Street adjacent to Boston's World Trade Center and across from the Seaport Hotel.
  8. What type of entertainment is offered?
    Sit back and relax on one of our climate-controlled decks. Dine on the bountiful buffet. Watch your talented wait-staff as they delight you with their up-beat renditions of popular favorites. Then kick it into high gear as your DJ spins popular dance hits.
  9. Is the ship handicap accessible?
    Yes. Our ship can accommodate wheelchairs for boarding and provides a handicap-accessible restroom. Please notify us of any special-assistance members in your party prior to the cruise so we can provide the appropriate assistance upon arrival.
  10. What type of food is served?
    Our cruises feature all-you-can-eat buffets with delicious choices prepared on board by our executive chefs and their galley staffs. June through October we also offer Lobster Clambakes on select cruises. With advance notice, we can accommodate requests for kosher meals, and we can arrange special meals for guests with allergies.

    Grande Buffet includes:

  11. Are gratuities included in the price package?
    Yes. They are included in the cost, however alcoholic beverages or any additional costs are not included
  12. What do drinks cost?
    Mixed drinks start at $7 for standard brand liquors, $8.25 for premium drinks. Specialty cocktails start at $9 and frozen drinks at $9.75. All beer is sold by the bottle, with domestic beer for $5.50 and imported for $5.75. Wine begins at $8 per glass. Soft drinks and juice are available for $2 each. These prices do not include tax or fees. Prices may be subject to change.
  13. Is there parking close to the ship?
    Yes. The Seaport Hotel Parking Garage is just a short walk from the ship, and offers discounted parking for guests as follows: Complimentary parking Monday through Friday evenings - you must enter the garage after 5PM and exit prior to 11PM and bring your boarding pass when you leave to receive free parking. For all other cruises, the garage offers 35% off the posted hotel garage rates. Your boarding pass is necessary to receive this discount. There are also outdoor parking lots on Northern Avenue and Seaport Boulevard that do not offer discounts. Parking rates there vary from $7 to $10 per day. Prices are subject to change.
  14. If my party is not able to make it or we miss the ship will we receive a refund?
    There are No Refunds once the cruise is booked, however with a 48-hour notice we will be happy to reschedule your cruise date, however if you miss your cruise without notice, we will not be able to re-schedule. Failure to appear on your booked date will result in a loss of your cruise. Please call Cloud 9 Living at 866.525.6839 to re-schedule your Lunch Cruise.
  15. How is seating arranged on board?
    Our ships feature cabaret-style seating. The majority of our tables accommodate four to eight people and guests are sometimes seated with other parties. Review our enhancement packages for private seating upgrades.
  16. Can you tell me a little about the ship?
    The cruise ship is spaciously designed with three climate-controlled interior decks, outdoor strolling decks at the bow and stern, and the largest outdoor patio deck in Boston topside. It is handicap accessible and Coast Guard approved for up to 600 passengers. Amenities include full service bars, two dance floors (or staging areas), spacious bathrooms, flexible seating arrangements and huge, panoramic windows.
  17. What is your smoking policy?
    All interior areas of our ship are non-smoking areas. Passengers who smoke may do so on the outdoor observation decks.
  18. Do you sail in inclement weather?
    Absolutely. Our ships are fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. We sail rain or shine all year long.
  19. Will my cell phone work on the cruise?
    Yes, your cell phone will work on the cruise. For the comfort of other guests, we ask that cell phone conversations be held only on the outside decks.
