Description:
A great introduction into fusing, this class will introduce you to the basic principles behind forming glass in the kiln to create beautiful fused glass pendants.

Your talented instructor will introduce you to all of the tools, basic glass cutting and kiln forming theory. Your creativity comes out as you learn different design and color skills that help to inform your decisions on how to layer your glass before it is fired.

Part of the creative process is introduced when you learn about iridized and dichroic glass and how they affect the designing elements when creating your pendants.

Step into the glass shop and learn a fun and creative skill with this one day fusing class.

Essential Information:
Tools and supplies are provided. No previous experience necessary. Participants must be at least 14 years old.

When these one of a kind pieces come out of the kiln a staff member will attach a sterling silver bail by which to hang your pieces.

Duration:
Saturdays: 2pm - 6pm

Maximum Participants:
10 students per class

Spectators:
Not Allowed.

Weather Dependent:
This experience is not weather dependent.

What to Wear:
Wear long pants and long sleeves made from cotton. You will need eyewear, closed toed shoes and a bottle of water.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings 14 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
