The entire flight experience lasts about 1.5 - 2 hours. 1 minute in the wind tunnel is equivalent to 1-2 real skydives. Many flyers find that each minute feels much longer, due to the adrenaline involved with flying in a 120 mph wind stream. Most people find 2-4 minutes to be an ideal amount for beginners. Duration options over 4 minutes can be split up among your party however you wish.

We are both in our 50s and this experience was a gift from our daughter. It was one of the coolest things we have ever done and I would definitely recommend it to EVERYONE! It was really amazing, our guide was wonderful, funny and so talented. We will definitely do it again in the future! We used our gift on our 33rd anniversary and we had a blast!
We had a fantastic time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
You can fly as long as you:
* Do not weigh more than 250 lbs.
* Are at least 3 years of age and fit in our gear.
* Are not pregnant
* Have not suffered from a prior shoulder dislocation.
* Are not under the influence of alcohol or non- prescribed drugs.
* Are not wearing a hard cast
A good test for the shoulder is to place yourself in a doorway, grab the top of the door frame and gradually move forward. If you feel your troubled shoulder at this point, it's suggested that you do not fly.
The feeling of flying is like no other. Flying in the wind tunnel is identical to being in freefall.
You do not feel like you are falling, instead you feel like you are floating. You will feel supported by the wind and by changing your body position you can move around the tunnel. It is an amazing feeling and when you try it you will know why the birds sing.
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement. A shirt without a collar will be the most comfortable for you. Please wear sneakers.
Check In
All flyers are required to sign a waiver. If under the age of 18, a waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to the flight. A parent or legal guardian is not required to be present at flight time.
If you would like a DVD or pictures of your flight just let our front desk staff know when you check in.
Meet your instructor
Once everyone in your flight session is signed in you will meet your instructor. Our highly trained staff have been professionally rated and trained to teach new flyers just like you.
Class Time
You will enter the classroom where an instructor will teach you a short class so that you will know how it all works and what to expect. Your instructor will also demonstrate the basic flying position and answer any questions that you may have.
Lockers and Gear Up
We provide lockers free of charge where you can place jewelry, keys, wallets and any loose items that may fall off of you or out of your pocket. These items are not allowed in the flight chamber due to the damage that they may cause. Locker keys are given to your instructor and he will place it in a key safe until your flight time is over.
Off to the gear counter!
You will then go to the gear counter and the instructor will give you the following items for your flight.
* Flight Suit that fits over your normal clothing
* Pro fly helmet
* Goggles
* Earplugs
* Knee and elbow pads
Once your class is geared up and ready you will gather to enter the flight chamber. It is common and exciting to see a class in the tunnel on their last few minutes just before you enter the flight chamber.
Into the Outer Chamber and Flight Chamber
The bell sounds and the doors to the outer chamber open.There are two areas in the flight chamber. There is an outer chamber and a flight chamber. The outer chamber is where you sit and the flight chamber is where you FLY!
As the last group exits the chamber you will enter and take a seat.The outer chamber doors will close and the motors will start. The air speed will come up in just a few seconds. You will soon be FLYING!
The flight instructor will step into the airflow, walking on the steel trampoline net floor. When the instructor is ready he or she will motion for the first flyer to come to the doorway of the flight chamber. Once the flier leans into the airflow they are almost immediately flying!
The flight instructor may have a light grip on the flight suit to help you position your arms and legs for a nice neutral body position. Once you are stable the instructor will let go and you are flying on your own free as a bird. You may then want to try some small movements and learn about body flight. After a minute it's time to exit back into the outer chamber and take a seat.
We know that you will have a big smile now. The rest of your class will all fly and then it will be time for your second flight. At the end of the flying session the flight instructor will show some of their flying skills as the fans power down.
Gear return
After flying is finished you will return to the gear counter and hand back your gear to your flight instructor. If you ordered a DVD, it will be given to you before you leave.
Feel free to hang out and watch other people flying or browse our gift shop area. Or if you would like to fly some more let us know and we'll get you ready for another session after a quick visit to the front desk.
