An evening filled to the brim with wonderful cuisine, live music and dancing under a canopy of stars. For a party of two, a group of couples, or a grand affair for up to 600 guests, this is the ultimate Chicago experience.

You'll know you're in for a special evening the moment you step aboard our elegant decks and are escorted to your candlelit table. Order drinks, then feel free to explore the ship while our crew casts off for three fabulous hours along the Lakefront.

Savor your culinary selections over perfectly-paced dinner music and a never-ending view of Chicago's breathtaking skyline seen through our huge panoramic windows. Truly, a sight you won't soon forget.

Throughout the cruise, our guests will be engaged by the high-energy performances, dances and popular solos of our talented crew.

Take your drinks topside and relax on the largest outdoor patio deck in the city while Chicago's magnificent skyline spreads before you in all directions. It's the perfect pause before the pulsing beat of dance tunes entices you onto the dance floor.

For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings 5 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given but rescheduling your dinner cruise is allowed up to 72 hours prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date, cancel, or reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.

  1. What type of food is served?
    Our cruises feature an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet with delicious choices prepared on board by our executive chefs and their galley staffs. With advance notice, we can arrange special meals for guests with allergies.

    Buffet Dinner Menu (subject to change):
    +Fresh Salads: Salad Sampler or the Chef's Daily Selection (the chef will create a salad daily).
    +Entrees: Thai BBQ Sirloin, Roasted Chicken, Tilapia or Pasta Primavera
    +Accompaniments: Vegetable Casserole, Baked Potatoes, Freshly Baked Rolls
    +Desserts: Cookies, Cakes, Bars, Pastries, and Seasonal Fruit
  2. What is the dress code?
    For evening cruises, appropriate attire is business casual to dressy. Men traditionally wear slacks and sport coats, with or without ties. Women wear dresses or nice pants. We do not recommend T-shirts, jeans, shorts or sneakers in the evening.
  3. What is "Boarding Time" and "Cruise Time"?
    "Boarding Time" is the earliest our guests may board the ship. Typically we begin boarding 1/2 hour prior to the "Cruise Time."
  4. What is typical cruising time?
    Departure times, occasionally, are subject to a slight change. Specialty cruises, such as holidays, may be subject to additional fees.
    Weekly: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
    Weekends 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm
  5. Can you hold a reservation and pay later?
    We do not hold reservations without payment.
  6. Are there any age requirements?
    Children are welcome on our dinner cruises.
  7. Where does the cruise go?
    The ship departs from the South Side of Navy Pier. While sailing routes may vary, the cruise goes as far south as McCormick Place and as far north as Montrose Harbor along the Chicago skyline.
  8. What kind of dance music do you play?
    Our lunch and dinner cruises feature a full range of popular dance tunes spun by some of the city's hottest DJs. Selections may include Rock, Blues, Line Dances, Motown, Oldies, Salsa, Hip Hop, Country, and current chart-toppers from every musical genre.
  9. How do I get to the ship?
    The ship is conveniently located at Navy Pier just off Lake Shore Drive. Ample parking with shuttle service to Navy Pier is available just off Illinois St. and Grand Ave.
  10. What type of entertainment is offered?
    Sit back and relax on one of our climate-controlled decks. Dine on the bountiful buffet. Watch your talented wait-staff as they delight you with their up-beat renditions of popular favorites. Then kick it into high gear as your DJ spins popular dance hits.
  11. Is the ship handicap accessible?
    Yes, the second deck on our ship is wheelchair accessible and provides handicap-accessible restrooms. It is important that you inform us in advance if you are bringing guests in wheelchairs or guests who may need special assistance in any way so that we can ensure seating on our second deck.
  12. Are gratuities included in the price package?
    Yes. They are included in the cost, however alcoholic beverages or any additional costs are not included.
  13. What do drinks cost?
    Mixed drinks start at $5.75 for standard brand liquors, $6.75 for premium drinks. All beer is sold by the bottle, with domestic beers for $4.50 and imports for $4.75. Wine begins at $5.00 per glass. Soft drinks are $2.20 each and juice is available for $2.50 each. These prices do not include tax and gratuity. Coffee and tea are included in your ticket price. Prices are subject to change
  14. If my party is not able to make it or we miss the ship will we receive a refund?
    There are No Refunds once the Dinner Cruise is booked, however with a 48-hour notice we will be happy to reschedule your cruise date, however if you miss your Dinner Cruise without notice, we will not be able to re-schedule.   15. How is seating arranged on board?
    Our ships feature cabaret-style seating. The majority of our tables accommodate four to eight people and guests are sometimes seated with other parties.
  16. Can you tell me a little about the ship?
    The ship is spaciously designed with three climate-controlled interior decks, outdoor strolling decks at the bow and stern, and the largest outdoor patio deck in Chicago topside. It is handicap accessible and Coast Guard approved for up to 600 passengers. Amenities include full service bars, two dance floors (or staging areas), spacious bathrooms, flexible seating arrangements and huge, panoramic windows.
  17. What is your smoking policy?
    All interior areas of our ship are non-smoking areas. Passengers who smoke may do so on the outdoor observation decks.
  18. Do you sail in inclement weather?
    Absolutely. Our ships are fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. We sail rain or shine year round.
