Essential Information:
Participants must be in good overall physical condition, no taller than 6'5" and weigh no more than 270 pounds.

There is no age limit to ride, however for safety reasons we do require a minimum height of 5'0" and a weight of 100 lbs.

If under 18 years old, a parental consent form must be signed.

We recommend bringing drinks and snacks to enjoy while at the track. Some seating is provided, however, we recommend bringing lawn chairs to guarantee a seat for any spectators.

Duration:
3 or 6 lap packages; time at the track is approximately 2 - 3 hours

1 per car

Spectators:
Yes, we encourage you to bring friends and family to share in the experience. And don't forget to bring a camera!

Weather Dependent:
If we have inclement weather and have to cancel, the experience provider will contact you and either reschedule you for another available date or issue you a gift card that you can use to reschedule at your convenience. A refund will not be issued due to rainouts.

What to Wear:
Comfortable, casual clothes depending appropriate for the weather. Wear closed toe shoes, tennis shoes are recommended.

Booking Information:
For this experience we recommend booking at least 30 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation all bookings are final. No or exchanges are allowed once you have scheduled a date. If you need to reschedule, you have up until 30 days prior to your reservation to make changes for a $50 administrative fee. Once you are within 30 days of the event, you are then locked in to that date and time and no changes can be made.

The Indy Car Champ Ride was a gift from my family. They know I like adventure and speed...this fit the bill. The ride was smooth and fast. You really feel the power of the vehicle and the "G-force" at speed on the banked track.

  1. What kind of race cars are used?
    The cars used are 600 horsepower, open wheel, Indy style race cars.
  2. What is your policy on rain-outs?
    If there is inclement weather and your experience date is canceled, your experience provider will contact you and either reschedule you for another available date or issue you a gift card that you can use to reschedule at your convenience. A refund will not be issued due to rainouts.
  3. Do I need to bring racing gear?
    No. You will be provided with everything you need.
  4. How long does this experience take?
    It depends on how many people are participating in the Indy Car Ride Along experience on your particular booked date.  The total experience, including registration, safety orientation, complimentary on-track van ride for participants and spectators, and your Ride Along experience should take no more than 2 hours.
  5. What are the age requirements?

    Texas Motor Speedway is a speedway located in the northernmost portion of the U.S. city of Fort Worth, Texas. The track measures 1.5 miles (2.4 km) around and is banked 24 degrees in the turns, and is of the quad-oval design, where the front straightaway juts outward slightly.
