- Fly high above the Dallas skyline as you do most of the flying!
Discover the joy of flying with this introductory flight lesson. Soar above the Dallas skyline, as you take in the scenery and actually get the chance to fly the plane.
Your lesson will begin with a pre-flight inspection of the airplane and ground school with your instructor, lasting approximately 30 minutes. During this time your experienced flight instructor will go over the controls and prepare you for what to expect in the air. As you taxi down the runway, your instructor will go over last minute details and make sure you are ready to fly.
For this introductory flight lesson, you will be flying in a SportCruiser - the leading luxury aircraft in the Light Sport Aicraft category. These 2-seater planes are extremely popular training aircrafts due to their maneuverability and superior safety standards. There's no better plane to fly on your first flight!
Next, it's time to take-off and enjoy the most exhilarating part - flying! Once airborne, you'll do most of the flying yourself, with your instructor by your side making sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. Your instructor will take care of take-off and landing.
During your approximately 90 minute flight, you'll have plenty of time to practice basic maneuvers and become comfortable in the air. You'll also have a great opportunity to soak in the views and enjoy the thrill of flying high above the treetops. After landing, you will receive a certificate of flight as well as a complimentary logbook to log your first flight.
Whether you are looking to begin your journey toward a private pilot's license or just for hoping to fulfill a childhood fantasy of flight, this it the perfect experience for you! Learn to fly near Dallas and make those dreams come true!
