  1. Will I be able to cut the metal?
Yes, with the "Dry Point" you can cut all the edges and inner parts of the metal over a cutting board. This special tool lets you cut all those difficult shapes that the scissors or x-acto just can't cut.
  2. Can I paint over the metal?
Yes, with any metal paint! The result from mixing the Decorative Painting and the Embossing techniques is outstanding. You can also try alcohol based inks.
  3. Do I have to use the filling paste?
Yes, you have to fill the back of your project with filling paste.  Otherwise, what you've embossed can be smashed down easily when polishing it or simply handling it.  For small areas, you can use Diamong Glaze or any white glue instead.
  4. Do I have to use the Patina?
Only when you want to give your project an antique touch.  If you don't polish your project, eventually it will get the look the patina gives to it instantly.  But remember, this Patina works only with Pewter!
  5. If I break or punch a hole in the metal, can it be fixed?
Yes, with the one glue side "Repair Tape." You just take the piece of tape needed to cover the damage and press it from the back of your work.  Nobody will ever know there was a mistake there!
  6. When do I need to use the suede or chamois?
Whenever you work from the back of the metal, to give dimension or push the metal.  You work on the acrylic glass or flexi glass, without the suede, when you are refining the profiles or embossed parts you did at the back or when you flatten the metal.  This id done at the front of your project.  You also use the suede when working with the decorative wheels to allow their design to leave a clear and deep impresion on the metal.
