Description:
Faux finishing has been used for millennia, from cave painting to Ancient Egypt, but what we generally think of as faux finishing in Decorative Arts began with Plaster and Stucco Finishes in Mesopotamia over 5000 years ago.
Now we offer Faux Artists, Homeowners, Interior Designers, Builders and other Artists the opportunity to finally access and enjoy these ancient finishes, previously only available on the coasts, in Austin!
This Faux Painting Experience has a few options. The main class is focused on the Old World European Finishes of Mediterranean Stucco, Roman Piazzo, French Country, Venetian Plaster, Marmorino, and a Tuscany Glaze with products from Italy, Canada, and the America's.
Additional classes include Metals & Pearls & Furniture & Cabinet Finishes. All of our classes feature Terms, Tools and Techniques allowing you to create your own sample boards.
We provide clear information, hands-on experience and a comfort level required by homeowners and career enthusiasts alike.
You will receive a class book full of quick reference material and ideas as well as your samples and a graduation certificate.

For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 30 days in advance.
Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 30 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 30 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
