Description:
Feel the rush of adrenaline as you get behind the wheel of a 450+ horsepower Z06 Corvette on the Lemans Infield Road Course at Texas Motor Speedway!
You will start your two-hour adventure with a 60-minute classroom presentation on Vehicle Dynamics. Next, you will jump into a van, enter the track and a professional driver will demonstrate the correct racing line that you will soon be following.
After several laps, it is time to suit-up, grab a helmet and climb in! Our Pit Road Marshall will make sure you are "thumbs up and ready", and gives you the command to start your engine!
Imagine the thrill of unlimited acceleration as you race at speeds up to 110 mph through Lemans Infield Road Course at the Texas Motor Speedway. With each heart-pounding lap your technique will improve and you will get faster and faster!
Although the checkered flag signals that you are done on the track, the memory of this day will last forever.

Essential Information:
No experience necessary. Typically there are 6 or 7 other drivers on the course. You can pass when it's safe and drive as fast as your ability allows. Professionals can reach speeds of up to 110 on this course.
It is required that the participant be at least 18 years old and have a valid Driver's License. Participants must fit comfortably in a 6 point harness and should be no more than 6'7" tall and weigh no more than 350 pounds.
Duration:
2 hours total. 10 or 20 lap options.
Maximum Participants:
12 per session, 4 sessions per day.
Spectators:
We encourage friends and family to come and watch. We have bleachers set up by the souvenir trailer for spectators to sit and observe free of charge. And remember, bring a camera!
Weather Dependent:
This experience is not weather dependent.
What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing with closed-toed shoes. A driving suit and helmet will be provided.

What is the difference between the Ride Along experience and the Race a Corvette experience?
A Ride Along is where a professional driver is driving the car, and the guest is riding in the passenger seat. A Race a Corvette experience is when the guest is driving, and the professional driver is in the passenger seat critiquing and offering advice.

What is the age requirement?
All participants in this program must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.

What is a typical session like?
After a classroom presentation on Vehicle Dynamics, you'll jump into a van, and a professional driver will demonstrate the racing line. Then, you'll suit up, grab a helmet, and gear up for 10, 15, or 20 heart-pounding laps in a Z06 Corvette! The experience lasts about 2 hours.

How fast do I get to drive?
There is no restriction on speed as long as you are comfortable and in control of the vehicle at all times. Professionals can reach speeds of up to 110 on this course.

Where will I be driving?
The rides and drives are given on the one mile infield road course at Texas Motor Speedway.

I'm a big person, will I fit in the car?
We do have a car that is equipped with safety belts for larger individuals. Although, some individuals that are over 6'4" and over 275 lbs will be tight. If you think there may be a problem, you can come to the track and we can check you out prior to any event.

Can I bring friends and family to watch? Is that an extra charge?
Friends and family can most certainly come and watch. We have bleachers set up by the souvenir trailer for spectators to sit and observe free of charge.

What should I wear to the event?
We recommend that you wear closed toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather, keeping in mind you will be wearing a driving suit over your clothes.
