Description:
Experience real life racing thrills by riding in the passenger seat of a Sprint cup style stock car driven by a professional instructor.
After you've learned the basics about the car and track, it's time to strap on your helmet and racing suit, and buckle up for your high-speed adventure on a real NASCAR Speedway.

Side by Side Option
Bring a friend for twice the fun! With our side by side option you and your companion will climb into separate cars and race next to each other around the track. With an expert instructor at the wheel you will be door-to-door going down the straight-aways and nose to tail weaving between each other in the corners. You'll feel like you are in a real race!

Essential Information:
You must be at least 10 years of age and weigh at least 100 pounds to participate in the Ride Along. Individuals must be able to fit through a standard size car window to enter the vehicle and may have difficulty if they weigh over 300 pounds, are taller than 6'7", or have a waist size over 50 inches. A DVD of your experience can be purchased directly from your provider after the experience has been booked.
Duration:
4 lap ride-along or 5 laps of side-by-side racing at either the Milwaukee Mile or the Chicagoland Speedway, depending on which option is selected. Plan on being at the track between 1 & 2 hours. This includes the safety & track overview, ride time, pictu

Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent; however the experience may run in the rain. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions. In the event that an experience is unable to run due to weather, the experience provider will reschedule your reservation at no cost.
What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing. No open-toed shoes or boots. A driving suit and helmet are provided to all participants.
Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 3-4 weeks in advance.
Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no returns or exchanges are allowed. Outside of thirty (30) days of your scheduled class date, if you need to reschedule for any reason you will be required to pay a $50 processing fee. Inside of thirty (30) days of your scheduled class date, if you need to reschedule for any reason the fee will be 50% of your class tuition. No cancellations or rescheduling allowed within 7 days of the event for any reason. Substitutions of an otherwise qualified driver to avoid these penalties are permitted.

How old do I have to be?
Passengers for Ride Alongs must be at least 10 years old.

Do you offer photography or video of my experience?
Yes, our provider offers in-car videos and professional digital photography to remember your day at the racetrack.
DVDs for Ride Alongs cost $29. -
What types of cars are available?
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup cars including Chevrolet Monte Carlos, Pontiac Grand Prix, Dodge Charger, & Ford Taurus. Two Open-Wheel NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour cars round out your selection.

Are there other requirements?
Yes. Participants must be between 5' and 6'7" tall, weigh at least 100 pounds and have a waist size no bigger than 50 inches. The doors on the cars do not open, so the participant must be able to fit into a standard size car window (15" high x 30" wide and 36" off the ground). If you're near the limits of the size requirements, please call prior to purchasing. There will be no refund due to a student's inability to fit in a race car.

What if it rains?
In the event your session is canceled due to weather conditions, you will be provided a rain check good for one year from your original booked date to complete your program. Refunds will not be offered.

Do I need to bring anything?
No, everything is provided for you. You should dress comfortably with a T-shirt that will fit under the driving suit, and sneakers (NO BOOTS). Friends and family, cameras and video cameras are encouraged.
