Essential Information:
All drivers must be 21 years or older and must possess a valid drivers license (motorcycle license) that qualifies him/her to operate a motorcycle.
Rental includes, helmet, unlimited miles and all applicable taxes. Fuel costs are client's responsibility. Additional costs and minimum day rentals will apply for one-way trips and during high season events, such as Sturgis.
All rentals come equipped with saddle bags for storage of personal items.
Additional terms and conditions will be presented at time of rental, including a credit card authorization for a deposit. Typically between $500 - $1000, depending on the model.

Weather Dependent:
It is not recommended to drive a motorcycle in inclement weather. Should the weather be questionable, the supplier will issue a rain check good for up to one year.
What to Wear:
Helmets are provided with all motorcycle rentals and all tours. Clients are encouraged to bring their own helmets for comfort and style reasons.
Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 2 weeks in advance.
Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, the following terms apply:
If you cancel within 31 days or more prior to your booked date there is no charge.
If you cancel within 21-30 days of your booked date, a fee of 30% of the experience value will be deducted from your credit with Cloud 9.
If you cancel within 11-20 days of your booked date, a fee of 60% of the experience value will be deducted from your credit with Cloud 9.
If you cancel within 10 days of your booked date, you will lose the entire value of your experience and no rebooking or exchange will be allowed.

What is included in the rental?
Every rental includes one half-helmet. 3/4 helmets and full helmets are available on a request basis subject to availability. Each bike also comes with two locks - a disk lock and spoke lock. Additional helmets, jackets, chaps, gloves and other accessories are also available for rental, but not included in the Bike rental rate quote.

Do you deliver the bike? If so, what is the cost?
Bike delivery varies by location. Typically, you have the option of getting picked up if you are within 5 miles of the rental location.

What is your gasoline policy?
The motorcycles are rented with a full gas tank. The vehicle needs to be returned full of gasoline upon return. Vehicles returned with a less than full gas tank or subject to a refueling charge. Renters may also pre-pay for gasoline, allowing them to return the gas tank empty.

How are mechanical breakdowns handled?
Every renter is provided with a toll free emergency telephone number at pick-up. In case of a mechanical breakdown the staff will arrange for towing to the nearest rental location or repair facility.

What happens when I get a flat tire?

Do I need to purchase insurance?
You may purchase insurance at the time of rental.

When two people are on one bike, does the insurance cover both of them?If two people are authorized to drive, do both need to buy insurance?
Yes, when optional Supplemental Liability Insurance is purchased a time of rental. If two people are authorized to drive, both people need to buy insurance.

What kind of drivers license do I need to rent a bike?
To rent a bike, you need to have a valid Motorcycle Drivers License from your home country. Having an International Drivers license is not sufficient.

Is the rental based upon a calendar day or rental day?
Rentals are based upon a 24 hour period. If you pick up the bike at 10:00 AM it is also due back at 10:00 AM.
