Description:
This is a comprehensive starter course for women only. The purpose of this class is to help students develop the skills and understanding necessary to catch trout on a fly rod.

The first two sessions introduce the student to fly fishing theory, rigging the rod, casting, knot tying, and entomology (as it pertains to fly selection). The Saturday on the river focuses on developing critical techniques in fishing nymphs, dries, and streamers.

Your instructor will also cover the topics of wading safety, trout behavior, entomology, reading the water, playing, landing, and releasing fish.

This 3 day class is offered monthly from May - August.

Location(s):
Evergreen, CO

Essential Information:
Students will be provided with a rod and reel if needed; however, it is the students responsibility to supply a valid Colorado fishing license, flies, waders, and other terminal tackle. Rental waders are available for $15 per day. All students must be at least 12 years of age.

Duration:
The class is held over a 3 day period. Monday and Tuesday from 6:00pm - 9:30pm and Saturday all day on the river.

Maximum Participants:
There is a maximum of 12 people per class

Spectators:
Not Allowed

Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.

What to Wear:
Dress comfortably for the classroom sessions; It is recommended to bring a rain coat, hat and clothing for the outdoors.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 21 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
