Where you live and work can have a tremendous impact on you in both obvious and non-obvious ways. Like "astrology for architecture," feng shui theories are partly based on time and space.

When a structure is built, combined with its compass orientation, will indicate strong tendencies towards certain events and circumstances for the occupants who dwell there.

Your exterior environment also plays an important role in influencing various aspects of your well-being.

House types have personalities and some are inherently good and supportive for the occupants, while others may be undermining to health, relationships, and even finances.

The beauty of feng shui is that there are many practical ways to correct a problem area, and with enough good feng shui applications, you can avoid negative potential altogether.

A lot of remedies are amazingly simple and yet very powerful. They can include changes to your décor, design, landscape, and furniture placement and all within a modest budget.

Kartar Diamond has been practicing classical feng shui since 1992 for both residential and commercial properties, including design phase projects. Author of three feng shui books, Kartar routinely advises several hundred clients per year and is one of the most sought after consultants in the country. Kartar is also a senior Instructor from the American Feng Shui Institute.
