Escape the city and enjoy all nature has to offer.
Your journey begins in the beautiful Catskill Mountains where you will follow scenic hiking trails leading to the Bastion Waterfall also known as "Horseshoe Falls." Next, your off to the Kaaterskill Falls. This spectacular 260 ft. cascade waterfall is the tallest within the State of NY, including Niagara Falls!
Then it's on to the Howe Caverns, the largest caverns in the North East open to the public. Here you will explore a prehistoric world formed millions of years ago, studying the beauty of stalactites, stalagmites and million year old limestone formations.
Complete your adventure with a boat ride on the underground Lake of Venus, 160 feet below ground!

Essential Information:
Participants must be at least 7 years of age and every child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You will need to bring valid government issued identification. All tours depart from Manhattan via coach bus - 2nd. Ave between 80th and 81st Street at 7am sharp, arrive 15 minutes prior. Lunch is provided. You will return to Manhattan at approximately 8pm.

What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions. The temperature in the mountains is usually about 10-15 degrees cooler than NYC and the temperature in Howe Caverns is a constant 52 degrees. We also recommend hiking boots or sneakers, water and a small backpack.

For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 7 days in advance.
Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
A wonderful tour, very refreshing, especially when you live in the city and you only have central park. It was nice to go out in the nature. the hike to the waterfall was relative easy, and it was an interesting contrast first hike up a mountain to waterfall and then go under the ground to a cave.
