Your first stop is the Sterling Hill Mining Museum, an old zinc mine where more minerals have been found than anywhere else in the word, 340 to be exact. More than 80 of which are fluorescent, again more than any other place found on earth.

Led by an experienced miner, you will visit a real underground mine where you will learn about minerals and the mining process.

Next, you will travel to the Pocono?s Mountains where you will visit the ?Niagara of Pennsylvania?, Bushkill Falls. Following an excellent network of hiking trails and bridges, you will have fabulous views of the falls and the surrounding forest.

Essential Information:
The tour begins at 8:00 am in midtown Manhattan, 8th Avenue between 33rd and 34th Street by Duane Reade. Please arrive 15 minutes prior. You will return to Manhattan at approximately 8pm. Participants must be at least 6 years of age every child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You will need to bring valid government issued identification. All tours depart from Manhattan via coach bus. Lunch is provided. Although the tour is all inclusive, you will want to bring cash for snacks, souvenirs and gratuity.

What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions. The temperature in the Sterling Hill Mine a constant 56 degrees. We also recommend hiking boots or sneakers, a small back pack, water and bug repellant.

Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
