Description:
The CPR Party for Family and Friends Course is teaches rescuers skills in CPR and relief of choking foreign-body airway obstruction. It presents information about the American Heart Association adult Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults.
The course also presents information on the American Heart Association pediatric infant and child Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, how to reduce risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), and prevention of the most common fatal injuries in infants and children. The course also teaches CPR and rescue breathing emergency skills.
This course is intended for new or expecting parents and family members of patients at risk for sudden cardiac death, and other laypersons who want to learn rescue skills for loved ones. This course is conducted in your home and is intended for 2 - 10 participants.
This course is for information purposes only. No Certification Cards will be issued.
You may also include in this package the First Aid course which provides a thorough overview of first aid and safety skills, equipping individuals to recognize and provide basic first aid care for injuries and sudden illnesses. You'll learn how to identify and care for a variety of medical emergencies, including severe bleeding, shock, and other sudden illnesses, as well as how to reduce the risk of disease transmission while providing care.

Essential Information:
All equipment and material is provided to you. Participants will receive a guide booklet at the end of the course for future reference. Although there is no minimum age limit, the material presented is of 6th comprehension.
Duration:
This class is approximately 2.5 - 3 hours and 3.5 with the first aid addition.

Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
