Description:
Enjoy a shipboard experience you'll remember forever, sailing the Big Apple's famous harbor aboard New York's only "Tall Ship"! The historic Empire State Clipper is an exact reconstruction of the City Clipper ships that sailed the coastal lumber trade in the U.S. during the late 1800's.
Climb aboard and raise the massive square-rigged sails of this historic ship. Nothing will prepare you for the amazing sensation of being on one of the largest sailing boats still in commercial operation today.
Enjoy stunning views of the Brooklyn Bridge as you get underway. Pass close to the Statue of Liberty, take in sweeping views of Ellis Island, the Manhattan Skyline, and the fortifications of Governor's Island and Battery Park at the mouth of the Hudson River.
This is an environmentally friendly experience, as your ship is powered by the wind with auxiliary engines fueled by an eco-friendly bio-diesel mix.
This magnificent vessel is a prominent feature of the New York City skyline.
