Midway between the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountain Range lies the beautiful Willamette Valley... also known as Oregon's wine country.
The Willamette Valley consists of 200 wineries and 10,000 acres of wine grapes. Today it is recognized as one of the premier wine producing areas in the world and is a wonderful region for wine touring.
The Willamette Valley is relatively mild throughout the year, with cool wet winters and warm dry summers. It is also an old volcanic and sedimentary sea bed, providing excellent drainage for superior quality wine grapes. This combination of soil and temperate climate, combined with coastal marine air, allows for gentle growing conditions within the Willamette Valley, ideal for cool climate grapes, such as our award winning Pinot Noirs.
The Northern Willamette Valley wine region is located within an hour's drive from the Portland metro area. This close proximity to Portland, creates a perfect opportunity for a day of wine touring.

Participants must be 21 and show proof of I.D.
You will consult with the guides prior to the trip to determine the best vineyards for you to visit and to set up lunch options. Due to the variation in personal preference for locations and food, wine tasting fees and lunch are not included. Typically tasting fees are $5 to $10 and you will visit 4 or 5 vineyards.
Pick up is from your hotel or locations in the Portland area.
