Description:
In the heart of Gold Country, the Darrington Trail is set among the breathtaking scenery of "Auburn State Recreation Area".
This trail is suited for all levels of riders. However, beginners should expect to ride carefully and may have to walk some of the more technical or hilly sections.
The trail starts with a short & steep climb, followed by a twisty, steep decent. The trail continues onto a singletrack section overlooking the South Fork of the American River. The rest of the ride meanders along the river, with several stream crossings along the way.
This trail will provide a memorable and exhilarating experience for biking enthusiasts.
