Description:
The owner and lead instructor has over 30 years of experience and is a leader in the development of modern hang gliding training standards and the U.S. Hang Gliding Association Instructor Certification Program.
During your 2.5 hour orientation and ground school, your experienced, USHGA Certified Instructor will teach you the basics of operating the glider and proper safety procedures.
Next you will practice takeoff runs and landings learning what the glider feels like floating over your head as you run along and how to control its actions.
When you and the glider begin to understand each other, it's time to move onto the slope, and really do it ? FLY!
Availability:
Year Round; Saturdays and Sundays at 11am.
Weekday lessons are available, but a minimum of 3 participants are required.

Essential Information:
No experience necessary. Participants must be at least 5' tall and weigh between 90 and 290 pounds.
Duration:
2.5 hour ground school/orientation followed by a 4-5 hour lesson.

Up to 5 per instructor

This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.
What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions and closed toed shoes sneakers recommended.
Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 3-5 days in advance.
Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
