Description:
Experience real life racing thrills by riding in the passenger seat of a Sprint cup style stock car driven by a professional instructor.
After you've learned the basics about the car and track, it's time to strap on your helmet and racing suit, and buckle up for your high-speed adventure on a real NASCAR Speedway.
Your expert instructor will take you on the ride of your life as you hit real racing speeds!
Side by Side Option
Bring a friend for twice the fun! With our side by side option you and your companion will climb into separate cars and race next to each other around the track. With an expert instructor at the wheel you will be door-to-door going down the straight-aways and nose to tail weaving between each other in the corners. You'll feel like you are in a real race!

Essential Information:
All passengers must be at least 10 years old and weigh at least 100 pounds.Individuals must be able to fit through a standard size car window in order to enter the vehicle. This may be difficult for those who weigh more than 300 pounds, are taller than 6'7", or have a waist size greater than 50".
A DVD of your experience may be purchased directly from the provider once your experience is booked.
Duration:
3 Laps or 6 Laps. Plan on being at the track between 1 & 2 hours. This includes the safety & track overview, ride time, picture taking, etc.

Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent; however the experience may run in the rain. Always contact the experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions. Should your experience be canceled due to weather, the provider will reschedule your experience at no cost.
What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing. No open toed shoes. A driving suit and helmet will be provided to all drivers.
Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 3-4 weeks in advance.
Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no returns or exchanges are allowed. Outside of thirty (30) days of your scheduled class date, if you need to reschedule for any reason you will be required to pay a $50 processing fee. Inside of thirty (30) days of your scheduled class date, if you need to reschedule for any reason the fee will be 50% of your class tuition. No cancellations or rescheduling allowed within 7 days of the event for any reason. Substitutions of an otherwise qualified driver to avoid these penalties are permitted.

I went on my 1st Stock Car Ride Along yesterday and let me tell you it was amazing! The experience from beginning to end was fun and exciting. The staff was friendly. I will definitely come back and book more Cloud 9 experiences. I can't wait!
Ride Along in a Nascar series stock car at over 150 mph. My son in one car and I in another. Great Father's Day gift from my wife. The ride was awesome!
I'm 67 years old and the Ride Along was more fun than when I was 10 years old riding bumper cars at a carnival! I'm looking forward to next year so I can ride, or maybe drive, a Nascar again. Great fun. I enjoyed every split second of the ride.

Do you offer photography or video of my experience?
Yes, our provider offers in-car videos and professional digital photography to remember your day at the racetrack.
DVDs for Ride Alongs cost $29. -
What types of cars are available?
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup cars including Chevrolet Monte Carlos, Pontiac Grand Prix, Dodge Charger, & Ford Taurus. Two Open-Wheel NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour cars round out your selection.

Are there other requirements?
Yes. Participants must be between 5' and 6'7" tall, weigh at least 100 pounds and have a waist size no bigger than 50 inches. The doors on the cars do not open, so the participant must be able to fit into a standard size car window (15" high x 30" wide and 36" off the ground). If you're near the limits of the size requirements, please call prior to purchasing. There will be no refund due to a student's inability to fit in a race car.

What if it rains?
In the event your session is canceled due to weather conditions, you will be provided a rain check good for one year from your original booked date to complete your program. Refunds will not be offered.

Do I need to bring anything?
No, everything is provided for you. You should dress comfortably with a T-shirt that will fit under the driving suit, and sneakers (NO BOOTS). Friends and family, cameras and video cameras are encouraged.
