Description:
Taught on a lake, this course is for those who want to get into the exciting yet relaxing sport of sea kayaking also known as touring.
Your instructor will cover the following topics to ensure that you are trained on all aspects of this fantastic sport: How to outfit your sea kayak; Self-rescue and assisted rescue techniques; Basic paddle strokes; Towing and being towed.

Essential Information:
It is recommended that the participant be 12 years of age or a minimum of 80 pounds.

What to Wear:
Expect to get wet. Swimsuits and closed toe shoes recommended.

For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings 14 days in advance.
Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
