Featured are spooky stories about the Spaghetti Warehouse, downtown's most haunted restaurant; the suicide of the last president of the Republic of Texas at the corner of Main and Texas; a look inside La Carafe, Houston's oldest haunted commercial establishment; the unnecessary strangulation of a managing director of the Alley Theatre, and the brutal murder of the last descendant of one of Houstonā??s founding families.

Essential Information:
This is good for all ages. The starting point and stopping point is in front of El Centro Restaurant, 416 Main Street. Free on-street parking is available downtown after 6pm on Friday and Saturday nights, except at specially-marked meters. Free valet parking at El Centro starts at 6 p.m. if you have a meal or a drink; restaurant reservations strongly suggested. $5 parking at the Market Square Garage entrances on Louisiana or Milam between Congress and Preston. There are also several surface parking lots located near El Centro.
