Description:
It's your turn to experience the thrill of driving a dragster!

Your experience starts with a classroom orientation session where you will learn basic safety precautions and operational procedures. Then you'll head out to the track for a quick demo run and a ride down the track with an instructor in the club van.

Now it's time to "start your engines" as a crew member gets you all belted in and ready to go.

As soon as your foot hits the pedal, get ready to leave everyone in the dust as your car accelerates to speeds well over 100 mph in just seconds!

You will make two, three or four runs (based on the package purchased) with the first run consisting of a long, smokey burnout, launching the car and a 330 foot pass. The distance of your 2nd run will be 1/8 mile.

For those with 3 or 4 run packages, your 3rd and 4th runs will will be the full 1/4 mile distance, and you can expect to hit speeds over 130 mph!

Bonus Ride Along Options: Choose one of the options with the Bonus Thrill Ride and ride as a passenger in a 2 seat dragster with a professional driver behind the wheel.

Lucas Oil Raceway: One of the premier features of the Lucas Oil Raceway is the 4,400 foot asphalt drag strip. It is host to one of the National Hot Rod Associations oldest and most prestigious races, the NHRA U.S. Nationals. Dont miss the opportunity to race on the same track as these elite professionals!

Racing doesn't get any better than this!

"BOOKING WAS HANDLED BY A GIRL NAMED LINDZY AND SHE DID EVERYTHIG VERY WELL. THE DRIVE A DRAGSTER WAS AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. THIS LABOR DAY WILL BE 51 TIMES OF GOING TO INDY BUT THE DRIVING EXPEERIENCE WAS MY FIRST TIME TO GO DOWN THE STRIP. EVEN THOUGH I WAS ONLY GOING ABOUT 120 MPH THROUGH THE LIGHTS I FELT LIKE BIG DADDY DON GARLITS WINNING THE US NATIONALS. THE ORIENTATION PART OF THE CLASS WAS VERY GOOD. THE INSTRUCTOR EXPLAINED EVERYTHING VERY CLEARLY ABOUT WHAT TO EXPECT. ALL SAFETY ISSUES WERE DISCUSSED AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT POINTED OUT. OUTSIDE THE CREW PERSONNEL DID A GREAT JOB OF GETTING US IN THE CARS. THEY WERE ALL VERY PROFESSIONAL IN HANDLING ALL OF US AMATURES. I PURCHASED THE VIDEO OF THE EXPERIENCE AND IT IS GOOD TO RELIVE THE EXPERIENCE. THE ONLY NEGATIVE COMPLAINT THAT I HAVE WAS THAT THE AUDIO PORTION OF THE FLASH DRIVE DID NOT WORK. ALSO THE DASH CAMERA DID A GOOD JOB OF FILMING ME BUT THE OVER THE HEAD CAMERA HAD A SMUDGE ON IT AND THAT PORTION OF THE VIDEO WAS BLURRED. I WAS IN DRAGSTER #2 SO I ASSUME OTHERS THAT FOLLOWED ME HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I WOULD SUGGEST AN ALCOHOL WIPE OR SOMETHING ON THE EXPOSED LENS. I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU CHECK THAT THE AUDIO AND VIDEO ARE WORKING CORRECTLY. MY FRIEND TOMMY AND I ARE ALREADY TALKING ABOUT A REPEAT NEXT YEAR. OVERALL IT IS AN EXCELLENT PROGRAM. IT IS NOT OFTEN THAT THE FAN IN THE STAND ACTUALLY GETS TO GO DOWN THE DRAGSTRIP. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. YOU FOLKS ARE GOOD FOR THE SPORT. RESPECTFULLY, DEWEY MEADE"
