Temecula Sunrise Balloon Ride

Your hot air ballooning adventure begins at La Vindemia, a private vineyard in the middle of the Temecula Wine Country - centrally located between San Diego and Los Angeles, and just inland from Orange County. You will arrive shortly before sunrise to a cup of piping hot coffee, cocoa or hot tea.

Your Pilot, armed with years of experience, will gauge the wind direction and speed and pick the perfect launch site.

You'll be amazed as your balloon transforms from a canvas bag into a vibrant, colorful, teardrop-shaped life form with the help of cold air fans and millions of BTUs of heat.

The inflation process is an excellent photo opportunity so do not forget your camera!

You will travel over the mountains and through the valleys while the earth quietly awakes from its slumber below.

Enjoy the splendor of a mountain sunrise as you leisurely float over rolling hills, impeccably planted rows of lush vineyards and the angular lines of red tile roofs of Country estates and ranches.

You'll fly so high, and so well, on your hot air balloon ride that you will laugh along with Mother Nature, returning to Earth somewhere in the scenic Temecula Valley.

Once you have set down, you can reminisce during the traditional champagne celebration and gourmet continental breakfast.

Essential Information:
Participants must be at least 5 years of age and be able to climb in and out of the balloon. For participants over 5'9 please be sure to bring a baseball cap (because of the heat). Also, due to safety precautions, this experience is not available if you are pregnant.

Duration:
3-4 hours total with approx. 1 hour of flight time.

Maximum Participants:
6-14 per balloon depending on overall weight and balloon type.

Not Allowed

Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.

What to Wear:
Wear casual outdoor active wear, and a jacket, sweatshirt or fleece pullover. Closed toed shoes are required. Because the balloon burners radiate heat, we recommend that if you are over six feet tall that you wear a hat or a cap.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 7 days in advance. However, last minute requests will be taken based on availability.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 14 days prior to your experience, failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is canceled due to inclement weather you will reschedule your experience directly with your experience provider.
