Description:
This beginner sailing course for adults is designed to teach the fundamentals of sailing and boat handling so that you can take your skills to the next level.

Over a course of 3 weeks, you will meet two evenings per week. Each session will be taught be our US Sailing certified instructors aboard Club 420 sailboats. You will learn skills such as rigging the boat, knot-tying, tacking and gybing, and landing at the dock or buoy.

Once you have completed this course, you will be ready for the next class which is taught aboard a 20 ft. C Boat then on to your Basic Keelboat Certification.

Availability:
This school is available on select dates during the summer months.

Essential Information:
This course is for adults 18 years of age or older. No prior sailing experience is necessary in order to take this course.

Duration:
This class meets two days per week for 3 weeks.

Maximum Participants:
There is a maximum of 12 people per class.

Spectators:
Not Allowed

Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent. Please contact the experience provider for up to date weather conditions.

What to Wear:
Dress for the weather. Remember that it may be a bit cooler on the water. You may also want to wear a hat, sunglasses, and bring sunscreen for protection from the sun. Please no dark soled shoes.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 14 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
