"Only thing we didn't like was the DJ. Here is why: it's a mixed crowd, and all he played was hip hop -- nothing but hip hop. The DJ on second floor was playing a mixture of music, so that's where we had to go to dance. First-floor guy was also playing some racial hip hop, not very good ."
"So disappointed in the Spirit dinner cruise! This cruise is WAY over priced for the quality of food and service that we received. As soon as you get on the boat you are encouraged to get up and get your food. We wanted to order a drink, which took about 5 minutes to get. The boat is docked and rocking, so trying to get your food is a rocking experience!! The food is displayed cafeteria-style with small signs stating what is in each tray. There was a tray labeled salmon and tilapia, so I asked one of the girls (can't say server because there weren't any, you served yourself) which one was salmon, and I thought she replied "the fat one"!! Really, who puts 2 different fish in same tray? For $260.00 I would hope someone would be serving the food!! The food was mediocre, at best. The only positive was sitting on the top deck on a beautiful night cruising past the skyline of NYC! However, there were lots of guys smoking cigars, which was offensive and took away from the experience. When we were getting close to the end, we went downstairs hoping to get some dessert and coffee. The dessert set out was less than appealing! We did not have forks and when I asked for some, I saw them actually washing a couple of forks to give us!! Now the DJ was blasting LOUD Latin music, truly unbearable! Could not wait to get off the boat!! Unfortunately, we both spent the night in the bathroom!! We were a party of four and paid over $500.00, wished we went to the River Cafe instead!! Fine food and service was expected, along with the spectacular views of NYC! Not worth the price is an understatement!"
"Great experience, once in lifetime..."
