Your lunch will be a gourmet 3 course seated meal which includes delicious cuisine, fine wines and live jazz on this New York lunch cruise.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given but rescheduling your dinner cruise is allowed up to 72 hours prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date, cancel, or reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.

  1. What type of food is served?
    Our menu is plated New American Cuisine - an exquisite three-course dining experience featuring chic appetizers, gourmet entrees and luscious dessert concoctions, all complemented by excellent wines and attentive tableside service. With advance notice, we can accommodate requests for kosher meals, and can arrange special meals for guests with allergies.

    Plated Lunch Menu (subject to change):
    +Appetizer: Lobster Bisque or Shrimp and Corn Chowder or Chef's Market Salad
    +Entrees: Chef's Select Quiche, Chef Seasonal Market Selection Pasta, Free Range Tuscan Chicken Breast, or Mediterranean Vegetable Purse
    +Desserts: New York Dessert Sampler
  2. What is the dress code on Bateaux New York?
    We recommend dressy-casual attire, such as nice slacks and collared shirts. We request no jeans, shorts, tank tops, halter-tops, gym shoes or flip flops are worn on any cruise.
  3. What is "Boarding Time" and "Cruise Time"?
    "Boarding Time" is the earliest our guests may board the ship. Typically we begin boarding 1/2 hour prior to the "Cruise Time."
  4. What is typical cruising time?
    Departure times, occasionally, are subject to a slight change. Actual cruise times will appear on your booking confirmation. Specialty cruises, such as holidays, may be subject to additional fees.

  5. Can you hold a reservation and pay later?
    We do not hold reservations without payment.
  6. Are there any age requirements?
    Children are welcome on our dinner cruises.
  7. Where does the ship go?
    We cruise the Hudson and East Rivers past the skyscrapers of Manhattan including the Empire State Building. You will see the Intrepid Sea-Air Space Museum, the Brooklyn Bridge, the site of the World Trade Center, Battery Park City, South Street Seaport, the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, Governor's Island, Ellis Island and the Colgate Clock. Of course, the highlight of our cruise is the Statue of Liberty, one of the most celebrated landmarks in the world.
  8. What kind of dance music do you play?
    Dancing across the Hudson River aboard Bateaux New York is a rare delight enhanced by the sophisticated sounds of live soft jazz, Broadway, blues and more, provided by our own professional jazz trio and remarkable New York song stylist.
  9. What type of entertainment is offered?
    The harmonic notes of a Baby Grand Piano greet our guests, followed by the sophisticated sounds of an acoustic trio and the satin-smooth melodies of our talented vocalist over dinner. After dessert, the sounds of soft jazz, Broadway and blues entice dancing and romance surrounded by the greatest entertainment of all - a 180-degree view of the greatest skyline in the world.
  10. Is the ship handicap accessible?
    Yes. Our ship can accommodate wheelchairs for boarding and provides a handicap restroom. Please notify us of any special-assistance members in your party prior to the cruise so we can provide the appropriate assistance upon arrival.
  11. Are gratuities included in the price package?
    Yes. They are included in the cost, however alcoholic beverages or any additional costs are not included.
  12. What do drinks cost?
    Our mixed drinks start at $7.50, beer starts at $6, and wine begins at $5.50 per glass. Soft drinks are $2.50 each. Coffee, tea and iced tea are included in the ticket price. All other beverages can be purchased on board. Prices do not include tax or gratuity. Prices are subject to change.
  13. Is there parking close to the ship?
    Yes, there is ample paid parking available at Chelsea Piers just steps away from our ship. It is a covered lot with security. Prices vary depending on the amount of time you are parked.
  14. If my party is not able to make it or we miss the ship will we receive a refund?
    There are No Refunds once the Cruise is booked, however with a 48-hour notice we will be happy to reschedule your cruise date, however if you miss your Cruise without notice, we will not be able to re-schedule. Failure to appear on your booked date will result in a loss of your Cruise. Please call Cloud 9 Living at 866.525.6839 to re-schedule your Lunch Cruise.
  15. How is seating arranged on board?
    Our ship is very flexible when it comes to seating. Tables for two, four, six, eight and even more can be arranged to suit almost every party and occasion. Our unique banquette seating allows us to create groupings of 20 to 100 with ease while still providing intimate seating for couples and foursomes.
  16. Can you tell me a little about your ship?
    The all glass ceiling and wall, 300-passenger Bateaux New York is Manhattan's most luxurious dinner cruise ship. Spaciously designed with climate-controlled interior decks, two outdoor strolling decks and a spacious hardwood dance floor.
  17. What is your smoking policy?
    All interior areas of our ship are non-smoking areas. Passengers who smoke may do so on the outdoor observation decks.
  18. Do you sail in inclement weather?
    Our ships are fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. We sail rain or shine year round.
