Step aboard for an afternoon on the water filled with delicious food, great music, and unbeatable scenery.

This two-hour cruise on New York's historic harbor is a perfect way to enjoy your lunch while taking in some of the most magnificent views the City has to offer.

When you step aboard, you will be greeted by a crew member who will kindly escort you to your seat. From here, feel free to order drinks and relax at your table or start to explore the ship along our outdoor strolling decks.

During the dining part of the cruise, you are free to make as many visits to the Grande Buffet as you wish. While you eat, we'll entertain you with a fascinating narrated tour of Manhattan's skyline as well as some impressive renditions of your favorite tunes.

This lunch cruise is the perfect way to spend a day on the New York waterfront!

Availability:
Year round boarding at 11:30 AM and sailing from 12:00-2:00 PM.

Rates may not apply for holiday and specialty cruises.

Essential Information:
Please arrive 30 minutes before scheduled departure. You may also purchase juices, sodas, mixed drinks, fine liqueurs, specialty waters, champagne and exceptional wines. Rates are inclusive of taxes and gratuities.

Duration:
The cruise lasts 2 hours; however, boarding begins 30 minutes before cruise departure.

Maximum Participants:
The cruise ship can accommodate up to 500 people.

Weather Dependent:
This experience will not be affected by weather conditions.

What to Wear:
For men, slacks and a collared shirt are recommended. For women, nice slacks, Capri pants or a dress is recommended.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings 5 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given but rescheduling your dinner cruise is allowed up to 72 hours prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date, cancel, or reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.

I originally purchased this experience (2 Hour NYC Lunch Cruise) as a 25th birthday present to my husband, but we were not able to take part in it. I gave the experience to my mother and stepfather as a present, all which they LOVED! Their experience was amazing and they could not stop talking about it for days. I will definitely book this same experience for my husband and I for the next time we go to NYC.

  1. What type of food is served?
    Our cruises feature all-you-can-eat dinner buffets with delicious choices prepared on board by our executive chefs and their galley staffs. With advance notice, we can arrange special meals for guests with allergies. Other specialty menus are available for deck or full-ship charters.

    Grande Buffet Menu (subject to change):
    +Salads: Garden-Fresh Salad Station, Potato Salad, Italian Pasta Salad and Chef's Daily Selection
    +Entrees: Wild Alaskan Salmon, Rotisserie Chicken, Pork Tenderloin, Asian Stir Fry and Three Cheese Pasta Bake
    +Accompaniments: Garlic Smashed Potatoes, Local Harvest Vegetable Medley
    +Dessert: Cheesecake and Chocolate Mousse Truffle
  2. What is the dress code?
    Casual attire is fine.
  3. What is "Boarding Time" and "Cruise Time"?
    "Boarding Time" is the earliest our guests may board the ship. Typically we begin boarding 1/2 hour prior to the "Cruise Time."
  4. What is typical cruising time?
    Departure times, occasionally, are subject to a slight change. Specialty cruises, such as holidays, may be subject to additional fees.
    Typically 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  5. Can you hold a reservation and pay later?
    We do not hold reservations without payment.
  6. Are there any age requirements?
    Children are welcome on our dinner cruises.
  7. Where does the ship go?
    We cruise the Hudson and East Rivers past the skyscrapers of Manhattan including the Empire State Building. You will see the Intrepid Sea-Air Space Museum, the Brooklyn Bridge, the site of the World Trade Center, Battery Park City, South Street Seaport, the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, Governor's Island, Ellis Island and the Colgate Clock. Of course, the highlight of our cruise is the Statue of Liberty, one of the most celebrated landmarks in the world.
  8. What kind of dance music do you play?
    Our dinner cruises feature a full range of popular dance tunes spun by some of the city's hottest DJs. Selections may include Rock, Blues, Line Dances, Motown, Oldies, Salsa, Hip Hop, Country, and current chart-toppers from every musical genre.
  9. What type of entertainment is offered?
    Sit back and relax on one of our climate-controlled decks. Dine on the bountiful buffet. Watch your talented wait-staff as they delight you with their up-beat renditions of popular favorites. Then kick it into high gear as your Spirit DJ spins popular dance hits.

    Day or night, Spirit is alive with vibrant entertainment.
  10. Is the ship handicap accessible?
    Yes, we can accommodate wheelchairs for boarding. The ship also provides handicap restrooms on the second deck. Please notify us of any special-assistance members in your party prior to the cruise so we can provide the appropriate assistance upon arrival.
  11. Are gratuities included in the price package?
    Yes. They are included in the cost, however alcoholic beverages or any additional costs are not included.
  12. What do drinks cost?
    Our mixed drinks start at $9, beer starts at $8, and wine begins at $7.50 per glass. Soft drinks are $2.50 each. These prices do not include tax and gratuity. Coffee and tea are included in your ticket price. Prices are subject to change.
  13. If my party is not able to make it or we miss the ship will we receive a refund?
    There are No Refunds once the Cruise is booked, however with a 48-hour notice we will be happy to reschedule your cruise date, however if you miss your Cruise without notice, we will not be able to re-schedule. Failure to appear on your booked date will result in a loss of your Cruise. Please call Cloud 9 Living at 866.525.6839 to re-schedule your Cruise.
  14. How is seating arranged on board?
    The ship features cabaret-style seating. While we do offer tables for two, the majority of our tables accommodate four to eight people, and guests are sometimes seated with other parties in the tradition of ocean-going cruises.
  15. Is there parking close to the ship?
    Yes. At Chelsea Piers in Manhattan, there is ample paid parking available just steps away from our ship. It is a covered lot with security. Prices vary depending on the amount of time you are parked.
  16. Can you tell me a little about your ship?
    The three-deck, 600-passenger cruise ship is spaciously designed with climate-controlled interior decks, outdoor strolling decks at the bow and stern, and the largest outdoor patio decks on New York Harbor. Amenities include full service bars, dance floors (or staging areas), spacious bathrooms, flexible seating arrangements and huge, panoramic windows.
  17. What is your smoking policy?
    All interior areas of our ship are non-smoking areas. Passengers who smoke may do so on the outdoor observation decks.
  18. Do you sail in inclement weather?
    Absolutely. Our ships are fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. We sail rain or shine year round.
