"The tour guide was excellent, very knowledgable. He made the experience one of learning, not just eating. The restaurants were fabulous and the food was delicious. We had a great afternoon. Currently looking in to book our next tour!"
"I grew up in Philadelphia but moved to the suburbs quite a few years ago. My wife and I took the Ethnic Food Tour from City Food Tours. It was excellent. Besides the food, we visited a Buddhist temple and our guide, Eric, was extremely knowledgeable (even showing us how to say "hello," "goodbye," and "thank you" in various languages. We had a great time and are looking forward to doing more things like this."
"Our tour guide was truly terrific and we really enjoyed it. Many thanks. Re suggestions - The actual food we sampled was pretty so-so, but the tour was great. Perhaps the food could be a bit more adventurous? Do folks booking an Asian foodies tour really want to eat a hoagie and tacos? Kind of doubt it, but we're all polite. Perhaps the problem of working round everyone's dietary restrictions prevented you from offering us something more ethnic and interesting? Not sure. The trip round the Asian supermarket with a knowledgable guide who could point out what things were, on the other hand - now that was TERRIFIC! Budhist Temple was great too. So all in all - we thought the food in the Vietnamese and Mexican restaurants sucked (Thai food was better) but we still loved the tour and would highly recommend. "
