For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings 5 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given but rescheduling your dinner cruise is allowed up to 72 hours prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date, cancel, or reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.

  1. What type of food is served?
    Each guest will be presented a menu to order from and each order will be prepared fresh in our full service galley.

    Plated Dinner Menu (subject to change):
    +First Course: Caramelized Duck en Croute, Mixed Greens, Lobster Bisque or Shrimp and Corn Chowder, Seafood Melange
    +Main Course: Pan Roasted Chicken Breast, Wild Alaskan Salmon, Seafood Ravioli, Beef Short Ribs, Pork Tenderloin, Roasted Vegetable Napoleon
    +Dessert: Cheesecake, Chocolate Truffle Torte, Fruit Crisp, Chef's Daily Special
  2. What is the difference between "boarding time" and "cruising time"?
    "Boarding Time" is the earliest you and your guests may board the ship.  You are free to board anytime after that up until the "Cruise Time."  The ship will leave the port at the "Cruise Time."
  3. May I bring my own camera on board?
    Guests are more than welcome to bring their own camera for personal pictures aboard the ship.  In addition, as you are boarding the ship's photographer records the moment for your entire party.  As you depart, you'll find your boarding photo ready for purchase.
  4. What is the cruise route?
    The only vessel designed specifically to travel beneath the historic bridges spanning the Potomac, Odyssey offers exclusive river views of the nation's greatest monuments from every table.  At times when wind and tide conditions prevent navigation to the Kennedy Center and Gerogetown, an alternate route south on the Potomac and past historical Old Town Alexandria will be taken. 
  5. How far off shore does the ship travel?
    The ship is licensed to travel as far as 3 miles off shore, however, our cruise route typically remains only one mile off shore.
  6. Can I bring a birthday cake on board?
    Small cakes that do not require refrigeration are allowed to be brought on board.
  7. What is the dress attire?
    The atmosphere is special and we hope our guest experience it to its fullest.  Jackets are recommended for men and cocktail attire for women.  We suggest no jeans, shorts, tank tops, halter tops, gym shoes or flip flops.
  8. What type of entertainment do you have?
    Odyssey offers an inviting dance floor and a variety of live music from classic jazz on the brunch cruise to contemporary favorites from a four to five piece band on the dinner cruise.
  9. Is the vessel handicapped accessible?
    Yes, the vessel is handicap accessible.  Once your party arrives, our marine crew can assist you as you embark our boarding ramp.  Please indicate when your submitting a booking request if you have handicap guests in your party.
  10. What beverages are served on your cruise?
    Coffee, tea, and iced tea are included in the ticket price.  Any additional beverages may be purchased on board at our cash bar.
  11. Are there restrooms on board?
    Yes, restrooms are located in every dining room on the ship.
  12. Is there pre-assigned seating?
    AS you board, our captain and marine crew will direct you to your deck.  From there, the hostess will show you to your assigned table(s).
  13. Is smoking allowed on the cruise?
    Smoking is allowed on the outside decks only.
  14. What if it rains or snows?
    Odyssey will cruise in most weather conditions all year round.  Each enclosed deck is climate controlled and the weather will not affect your cruise.  In the case of severe weather conditions or upon the direction of the U.S. Coast Guard, the ship will remain dockside for the length of the event.
