What to Wear:
Business casual attire is requested. Attire such as khaki pants and a collared shirt are just fine. You may find that some guests are dressed more formally, especially those celebrating special occasions. However, attire varies from comfortable shorts to the more formal. Bring along a light jacket or wrap as it may get a bit breezy on the outer decks.

For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings 5 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 72 hours prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.

When making the reservations I spoke to Lindsay, she was so nice and professional; I would like to give her kudos for her service too bad more companies don't have more employees like her. We had a wonderful time on our dinner cruise I would recommend it to anyone. The food was outstanding as was the waitress. The weather wasn't perfect rain, but the environment was awesome! I will definitely use Cloud 9 again.

  1. What is the dress attire for the cruises?
    Business casual to dressy casual attire is recommended. For men, slacks or khaki pants, and a collared shirt with or without a jacket; for women slacks, a skirt, or dress. We request no jeans, shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, or gym shoes on these cruises.
  2. If my party is not able to make it or we miss the ship will we receive a refund?
    There are No Refunds once the Dinner Cruise is booked, however with a 48-hour notice we will be happy to reschedule your cruise date.  If you miss your Dinner Cruise without notice, we will not be able to re-schedule. Failure to appear on your booked date will result in a loss of your Dinner Cruise. Please call Cloud 9 Living at 866.525.6839 to re-schedule your Dinner Cruise.
  3. What time do I board the ship?
    Boarding time is usually 30 minutes prior to departure for all cruises. Please check your boarding time when making your reservation.
  4. Where is the best place to park?
    Tower Bridge Parking Garage at Front Street and Capitol Mall (this is the closest garage) $1.50 per half hour. Old Sacramento Garage at 2nd Street & "I" Street: $1.25 each half hour for the first two hours, $1.00 each additional half hour. There is a parking lot located at Front Street & "L" Street (enter from "L").
  5. What time do Dinner Cruises Depart?
    Departure times are occasionally subject to a slight change. Specialty cruises, such as holidays, may be subject to additional fees. Weekly & Weekends: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
  6. Can you hold a reservation and pay later?
    We do not hold reservations without payment.
  7. What happens if there is inclement weather?
    The cruise sails rain or shine.  In the case of severe weather condition or upon the direction of the U.S. Coast Guard, we will remain dockside. 
  8. What kind of entertainment is on board?
    The dinner cruise offers inviting dance floors and a variety of music - from the dance hits of the 40's through today as well as a variety of jazz standards and popular favorites.
  9. Can we bring our own decorations?
    Small groups without private space can bring table decorations but early boarding is not allowed.
  10. What dcor is provided on the ship?
    All yachts are decorated with linens, lantern centerpieces, silver and china.
  11. Can I bring cakes and flowers on board?
    Cakes that do not require refrigeration may be brought on board. You will be charged a $1.50 per person cake cutting fee. Small flower bouquets are allowed.
  12. Are there vegetarian options available?
    Yes, vegetarian meals are available and can be arranged at the time of booking.
  13. Are gratutuies included in the package price?
    Yes.  They are included in the cost; however alcoholic beverages or any additional costs are not included.
  14. Is the ship handicapped accessible?
    Please call (800) On-The-Bay to discuss local port options.
  15. When is dinner served?
    Dinner service begins immediately upon embarking.  Service is leisurely to provide time to take in the sights or stroll the decks.
  16. Do we need to pre-select the menu before the day of cruising?
    No, you do not need to preselect your menu.  We have a menu that you will chose from on board.
  17. Is there pre-assigned seating?
    As you board, our captain and marine crew will direct you to your deck. From there the host/hostess will show your party to your assigned table(s). Decks are never guaranteed to non-private groups. We assign seats based on needs and capacity for each cruise.
  18. Are there any age restrictions on your cruises?
    All ages are welcome.  Minors require adult supervision.
  19. Is smoking allowed?
    Smoking is allowed on the outside decks only.
