Description:
A perfect way to spend a summer evening in San Diego. Glide across the evening stillness of Mission Bay at night towards Sea World and then be thrilled to watch the Fireworks Show from your kayak. Nothing is more exciting than your front row seat for this memorable evening.

Essential Information:

No kayaking experience is required. Participants must be at least 8 years of age and able to swim. Kayaks, paddles and life jackets are included.

There is a minimum of 4 people for this experience.

Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.

What to Wear:
Wear shoes that can get wet, drip dry shorts, shirt, and a light jacket. Expect to get a bit wet. Also bring a waterproof flashlight or glow sticks may be purchased for an additional cost.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 7 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rebooking are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and rebook at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.

  1. What is provided?
    Kayaks, paddles, life jackets and a guide. We use stable, easy-to-paddle sit-on-top kayaks. No kayaking experience is required.
  2. What do I need to bring?
    Expect to get a slight bit wet. Bring: shoes that can get wet (Tevas, tennis shoes, 'river shoes' or flip flops), drip dry shorts, shirt, and a light jacket. Bring a waterproof flashlight or buy from us glow sticks, bring (or buy from us) a 'leash' for valuable glasses. You can leave a towel and dry clothes in your vehicle for afterwards. Please DO NOT bring valuables and things that cannot get wet: cell phones, pagers, car keys, non-waterproof watches, non-waterproof cameras.
  3. What is the age requirement?
    Ages 10 and up
  4. What should I expect?
    Be prepared to get slightly wet! The bay water is calm, but occasionally there are splashes from wakes and it is possible.
  5. What happens if there is inclement weather?
    In the event that the weather cancels your trip, you will be issued a refund.
