Wine 101 is a great experience for anyone interested in learning about wine in a fun, relaxing setting.

This introduction to wine class will teach you what you need to know about wines to impress a date, your boss, or just because you want to.

Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere that creates a wonderful learning environment. You will learn wine basics from a professionally trained wine expert.

This class covers topics including:

  • How to properly store wine
  • Specific information about the 6 wines featured in class

Essential Information:
Participants must be 21 years of age and up to participate. Wine and light appetizers are provided. In addition, you will receive an electronic copy of the book "A Fun and Informative Introduction to the Wonderful World of Wine!"

Gratuity for your instructor is not included and is appreciated. Suggested gratuity is $19-$26 per person.

Note: Classes have a minimum of 12 students. The experience provider reserves the right to reschedule classes with fewer than 12 students 48 hours prior to class time. This scenario is not likely due to the popularity of the class.

Duration:
This is a 2.5 - 3 hour workshop.

Maximum Participants:
You will be accompanied by other class participants, with a maximum of 20 per workshop. For groups larger than 4 please contact Cloud 9 Living directly for pricing.

Spectators:
This experience is only for those participating in the workshop.

What to Wear:
Casual attire is fine.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 14 days in advance as classes are very popular and do fill up.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 1 week prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date, cancel or reschedule at least 1 week prior to your booked date may result in the loss of the value of your Experience.

  1. Are there any age restrictions?
    All participants must be age 21 and up with a valid ID.
  2. Will food be provided?
    There will be some light appetizers available and these vary from class to class.  Typically, there will be something like a few cheese and olive trays along with crackers and bread.
  3. Can you accommodate me if I have a food allergy?
    Please let us know of any allergies or restrictions at the time of booking and we'll do our best to accommodate.
  4. Is there a dress code?
    There is no official dress code, but business casual attire is recommended.
  5. What about gratuity?
    Gratuity for your instructor is not included in the price and is greatly appreciated. A gratuity of $19-$26 per person is recommended. Please be sure to plan ahead and bring cash with you as most instructors cannot accept credit card tips.
  6. Is there anything I need to bring to class with me?
    No, just get ready to have some fun! It is a good idea to review the book that is sent to you ahead of time -A Fun and Informative Introduction to the Wonderful World of Wine- but it's not necessary.
