Description:
Enjoy one of the most romantic experiences available, a private hot air balloon ride over the serene Orlando countryside.

As you gently leave the bonds of earth, you will float effortlessly over cypress trees and the beautiful blue water of Orlando's lakes and waterways. Smell the orange blossoms in bloom and enjoy all that beautiful Central Florida countryside has to offer.

You will meet approximately one hour before sunrise and after selecting our launch site, you will head out to begin the inflation process for your hot air balloon adventure.

As a passenger you are invited to become a "Designated Crewmember", joining in the inflation process and learning firsthand about ballooning, before you climb aboard for your majestic balloon flight.

As one of the premier balloon operators in Central Florida, your balloon provider has been operating continuously and accident free since 1987. All pilots are commercially licensed and insured, with over 20 years experience flying in Orlando and Central Florida.

Ballooning is an intoxicating experience, and an absolute must for any romantic! This is a skyward adventure that you will never forget!

Year Round; 7 days a week. Flights are at sunrise.

Essential Information:
Participants must be at least 6 years of age and individuals weighing more than 200 pounds may be required to purchase an additional spot on the balloon.

All flights include a traditional champagne toast, a First Flight Certificate and an unlimited and scrumptious breakfast after the flight.

Duration:
3-4 hours with approximately 1 hour of flight time.

Yes. "The chase package" is available for $20 per person and is available at the time of booking. See FAQs for details.

Weather Dependent:
This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.

What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions. Dresses are not recommended. Wear hiking boots or tennis shoes that you don't mind getting a little wet. Please do not wear sandals or heels since you will be walking in fields and the ground is usually wet with dew. Dress in layers wearing natural fiber type clothing for cooler weather.

Booking Information:
For this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 14 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy:
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 14 days prior to your experience, failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is canceled due to inclement weather you will reschedule your experience directly with your experience provider.

  1. Are spectators allowed?
    Spectators may purchase "the chase package" for $20 per person to be paid at the time of booking.  "The chase package" includes:

    Attend the pre-flight briefing. Ride along to the launch site! Watch the assembly of the balloon and the inflation. Photograph the launch for your friends. Then jump on board our trucks and ride with our professional ground team down to the landing site.  Watch while your friends and family come in for a beautiful landing right in front of you while you take pictures all along the way. Participate in the champagne toast and then return with all of us for the all you can eat Breakfast Buffet.

    You literally do everything the fliers do except the flight!  All for $20 per person.
  2. Will we fly over Disney?
    Your pilots try to fly over the area's theme parks as often as possible. However, balloons only float with the wind direction of the day, so it is impossible to guarantee any particular path of travel. The flights don't always go over Disney but you can see the parks form almost all of our flights.
  3. Where do we fly?
    We have about 30 different launch and landing sites in the Disney area.  Each day is different.  What launch and landing sites we will use on any day is determined by the speed and direction of the wind that day.   Today's launch site might be tomorrows landing site or we might not go back to that site for weeks.
