Description:
Set sail across the waters of the Potomac River on one of Washington DC's most elegant yachts, the Odyssey. Wine, dine, dance and relax aboard this remarkable glass-enclosed vessel, delighting in an evening that you won't soon forget.

The DC Gourmet Dinner Cruise greets you with an ambiance saturated in elegance, right from the moment you step foot on the ship. A crew member escorts you to a private table, ideally suited to accommodate your party size — whether it's a romantic evening for two or a special occasion shared among family and friends. Sit back with a pre-dinner cocktail from one of the Odyssey's cash bars, enjoying the light notes of a four-piece band. Get your fill of favorite dance standards on this cruise from Washington DC, as you float down the Potomac with stunning sights just a window away as you dine.

Your DC Gourmet Dinner Cruise presents you with a menu of choice cuisine, created by the ship's Executive Chef and prepared onboard with fresh, seasonal ingredients. First-course starters like shrimp and watermelon, vegetable salads or whipped goat cheese make perfect selections for easing into your meal. As you move on to your entrée, choose from mouthwatering dishes (subject to change) like:

  • Jumbo lump crab cakes
  • Oven-baked salmon filet
  • Maple and mustard glazed chicken breast
  • Braised beef short rib
  • Greek zucchini fritters.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with tantalizing dessert options like sorbet with fresh fruit, apple parfait, salted caramel cake, or the Odyssey's Signature Warm Butter Cake.

Your appetite won't be the only thing satisfied on this 2.5- to 3-hour cruise from DC. The ship's all-glass structure means there isn't a bad seat in the house! Magnificent panoramic windows allow guests to soak up Washington DC sightseeing, right from the supreme comfort of their dining room tables. Of course, nothing compares to a stroll on the wrap-around deck either!

Snag a cocktail and wander around outside, surrounded by fresh air, sparkling lights on the water, and breathtaking historical landmarks. Float past famous DC attractions like Lincoln Memorial, JFK Center, Roosevelt Island, Jefferson Memorial, or Old Town Alexandria. Not only does the Odyssey  afford guests a striking backdrop on this scenic cruise, but its design takes sightseeing in Washington DC to a unique level. The ship's glass walls are built low enough for it to fit under structures like Francis Scott Key or Woodrow Wilson Bridges, giving guests incredible perspectives.

"The staff was friendly but not as professional as what I would expect for the price. No bread was available for the meal and cocktail and wine service was slow. Nice boat and I enjoyed the views. "

"They could not find our booking when we went to check in. We were sent back and forth between 2 of the 3 boat cruise company ticket offices. Apparently we'd been switched behind the scenes and it took them 45 minutes to finally figure this out and find our reservation. We did print off the confirmation email and brought it with us and the still had a hard time finding us. At least they were pleasant through the whole reservation ordeal. The overall experience was ok, we made it fun. The food was awful, but the staff was attentive and the sights were fantastic. We would not pay for this again, nor recommend this particular cruise to anyone."
