The 2016 Audi R8 is every bit as powerful as it is stylish. Combining the best of German engineering with the flair of Italian supercars, this Audi R8 is the most aggressive version of the R8 yet! With a powerful 5.2L V10 engine, this supercar packs an impressive 540 HP punch and reaches top speeds of 200+ MPH. Find out what it feels like to go from 0-60 MPH in just 3.2 seconds with this Race an Audi R8 experience!

Your day at the track will start with an approximately 20-30 minute classroom session where your professional instructor will go over racing tips, proper driving position, steering techniques, braking and acceleration with powerful vehicles like the R8, and how to find the optimum racing lines on the course. Once complete, you'll be sent down to the pit to be fitted for your helmet and to prepare yourself for the thrill of a lifetime!

Finally, you will take the driver's seat and have the opportunity to unleash on the course for 3, heart-pumping laps. Your instructor will be in the passenger seat the entire time, giving you real-time feedback and pointers on how to get the most out of a world-class road course!

Driveway Austin: Located in the heart of Texas, Driveway Austin is a unique track experience. With it's signature corners and extreme elevation changes, this course brings a European flair to Texas. Even the asphalt was methodically tested and specially developed for maximum grip in both wet and dry conditions. The course is 1.5 miles and boasts 23 thrilling turns and a 2,500 foot straightaway. There is really no other course like it!

Want a little extra fun? Add on an EVO Mitsubishi Thrill Ride and have a professional driver whip you around the track 3 times! He'll also share a little insider info to help you when it's your turn to drive!

- Included in the cost of this experience is a $39 Track Insurance Policy. Participants will have the option to upgrade the insurance for an additional fee at the time of booking.
- Photos and video of your experience are available for purchase at the track on the day of your experience
Duration
Experience lasts approximately 2 hours, however, duration can be extended due to unexpected weather and mechanical issues.

Spectators
We encourage you to bring family and friends to share the experience! Spectators will be able to watch from a few designated viewing areas outside the event. Pit passes are available on the day of the event for additional $15 per person (anyone under 12 years old is free) for any spectators who want to be close to the action!

This experience is weather dependent and may be postponed or rescheduled based on conditions. Please contact the experience provider directly with any questions or concerns regarding the weather.

Booking Information
For this experience, we recommend booking at least 60 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9 Living's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final, no refunds or exchanges for alternative Cloud 9 Living experiences are allowed. Rescheduling your time or switching vehicles (if available) within the same track location is allowed, for no additional fee, up to 48 hours prior to your booked date. If done so within 48 hours of your booked date a $100 fee will incur. You may reschedule or transfer to a different track location within 12 months of your original booking for a $50 fee. If you reschedule or transfer to a different track location outside of 12 months then you will have a credit with the experience provider to use towards one of their current packages.

1. What are the requirements to drive?
  
  Drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
  
  *The Audi R8 is not recommended for drivers exceeding 6'5" due to limited cabin space.
2. Do I need to know how to drive manual transmission?
  No! All vehicles are equipped with a no-clutch, paddle shift on the wheel which you will be taught to use.
3. Are there any height or weight restrictions?
  In general, all participants must not exceed 6'8" and weigh more than 350 pounds. However, the Audi R8 is not recommended for drivers over 6'5" due to limited cabin space. Please contact the experience provider directly with any concerns about fitting. They may recommend you reserve a different vehicle.
4. Are photos/video available?
  There are multiple photo/video options available for purchase on the day of your experience. Photo packages start at $29 and are available in a printed sleeve or digitally. Video packages start at $49 and are provided on a USB flash drive.
5. What track insurance policy is included?
  The minimum $39 insurance policy is included. The policy includes $20,000 coverage with a $5,000 deductible. You are welcome to upgrade your insurance policy on the day of your experience to one of the below packages.
  
  -$69 policy includes $85,000 coverage with a $3,000 deductible
  -$149 policy includes $150,000 coverage with a $2,000 deductible
6. Do I need any previous racing experience?
  Nope - This experience is meant to give the average car-lover an opportunity to race their dream car! You will have a 25-30 minute classroom session prior to driving during which your professional instructors will go over safety information, details about your car and the track, and any other questions you might have!
7. How fast will I go?
  The maximum speeds reached on the track are determined by your comfort and skill level as well as the track length and configuration. Trust us, you'll not only get your need for speed, but you'll also get to experience the finesse of this renowned supercar!
