Nice leisurely jaunt around the beautiful Marina! 2 hours was a good amount of time to enjoy brunch and champagne and then walk up to the outside deck (with plenty of seating areas) to relax and enjoy the view from up there for awhile. Friendly, attentive staff as well. We will do this again!

The ship , food, staff and views were all great. Would have given a 5 star, however the directions to the event and where to park were inaccurate. The directions to park by a Jacks shrimp are old and thus caused confusion for us looking for a non existent restaurant.

The boat was wonderful, and the servers and chefs were polite and delightful, but when we signed up, we let them know my partner has Celiac on the form. We assumed this meant there would be celiac-minded options, but when we were aboard, none of the food was labeled regarding dietary restrictions, and there were no alternate options for people with allergies. The dessert was all pastries and cakes (which I found delicious), but my partner wasn't able to have any.
The food was amazing, and the experience as a whole was really fun -- it was just a shame that there was no thought put into people who have restricted diets, despite having a section about that on the signup form.

First off, allow me to say that our guide, Kelly, was fantastic. She is knowledgeable, energetic, and very personable.
Unfortunately, this to tour isn’t exactly what any of us thought it would be. While it is a tour of some wonderful old time Hollywood joints, the cocktails were unimpressive, and really had little or nothing to do with any of the stops.
We all kind of thought that the cocktails would tie into the tour, and would simply be better. We had a beer, a Moscow Mule, and a glass of Chianti.

We received this cruise as a Christmas gift. Beautiful day and weather. The assigned seating was fine and our server was very attentive and friendly. Food was average. I was expecting a little more variety but hey this was a gift. Seafood selection was poor-shrimp, cold salmon and tiny ahi appetizers . I realize this isn’t Princess or Carnival, but maybe cut out some of the salads and breakfast (scrambled eggs really?) and add more interesting items (crab legs, eggs Benedict etc.). Bartender and drinks were good. Lots of little kids on this cruise. Didn’t feel like a kid friendly cruise considering the free flowing champagne, bar, music and menu. thankfully it was only 2 hours long.

It was a great experience! Our server was Albert and he truly mad the whole cruise fun! He was professional, courteous & helpful. I loved the whole crew. Everyone was so friendly and made the experience fun! I loved everything from the boarding, entry, dining, as well as hanging out on the top deck!

Tora, our guide was articulate and entertaining. Full of LA history and of the eatery’s we visited. A day well spent! Loved all the places we went, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be the grilled cheese at DTLA Cheese. And I usually don’t like grilled cheese! We will be back.

The ship was great the food was wonderful along with the unending champagne. However, was very disappointed that there was no monologue regarding of who lived where, history of the area, etc. Although the Wild Goose was docked next to us, no mention of John Wayne. Not even when we passed the place where his home used to be. There is so much history and interesting stories to be told of the area, it is a shame that out-of-towners and out-of-staters never heard any of it. Perhaps someone in the cruise company should take a cruise on one of the smaller companies that do provide an interesting monologue, to increase the enjoyment of the experience.

Gloria was our server. She was kind, friendly, and one of the best servers I have ever had. And I also experienced a ghost story on the boat... The strangest thing, I got locked into John Wayne's old bedroom restroom, after a few minutes, the lock just gave and I was able to get out. Thank you.

Our kids bought this as a Christmas gift for us, and it was so much beyond what I ever expected. From the minute we boarded, we were treated like, well, ROYALTY. They gave us a chilled glass of champagne, showed us to our private dining room table, and then told us we had the run of the ship. We jammed up to the sundeck to enjoy the gorgeous weather and forever views, and only came back to our table for the amazing buffet. This easily rivals any brunch you would get at a restaurant -- shrimp and salmon, tri-tip and turkey, fruits, desserts, and EVERYTHING in between. The champagne NEVER stopped flowing, and the staff was truly unrivaled. I would love to do this cruise AGAIN!

We did the Farmer's Market Food Tour and loved everything about it. Even though my husband and I have been there numerous times, to get an insider's view really was enlightening and entertaining. Lisa (our guide) was tremendous and very knowledgeable. The tour was very well-organized and well done. I would recommend it to locals as well as out of town guests.

We did the brunch cruise Marina Del Rey with Hornblower. It was a gift for my boyfriend's birthday. We took our toddlers -- it may not to be recommended to go with small children. We had a good time, but I felt that the boat isn't really child-friendly, plus then you're asked to go get your food (since it's a buffet). We were never told to go get food. We had to get up and go, and I didn't like that felt left out. I saw that the manager went around and had everyone get up and serve themselves, she never told us to go. That's really the only part -- I left ignored maybe because we had kids. But we should have been the first table, if anything, since we had 1- and 2-year-old hungry babies.

I believe my experience would have been a 10, but not due to the fact that the A/C on the Endless Dreams yacht went out in the first 5 minutes. Having buckets and rags/towels on the floor while we were in line to get food was not good. It was very stuffy, even when we sat to eat. No negative comments to say about the staff or food.

The food was very cheap quality. I felt like I was testing food at a Costco. Most of the food we tested was lower-end food. There were no chefs or owners representing their cafes. Most of the food was served on paper plates or napkins. The amount of food was maybe about $20 worth, not the $75 I paid per person. This is my second tour, and it did not compare to the food tour in Laguna Beach. On the positive side, my tour guide was very pleasant and kind. I also like walking around my group and seeing the city. I do think it was fun, but not worth the price I paid for it. I would not recommend this tour to anyone I know, sorry.

We had a small group and it was so nice. I have been on two other tours which I enjoyed, but they were large groups so this was a new experience. I had been on this same tour 3 years ago --- some of places were the same but enjoyed it just as much. I think our guide's name was Barbara. She was a doll, had so much information, was fun, and had a great personality. Everything was very organized. I gave this to a friend for a gift, and we had a wonderful time together. There was a group of 8 of us, and we all enjoyed the all-you can-eat-and-drink brunch. The servers were very nice and helpful. The weather was beautiful. We left right on time and returned on time. The only thing is we were seated very close to the other tables, so it was hard to get in and out.

Champagne started flowing as soon as we got on the ship and didn't stop until we almost docked! I would recommend the breads and muffins also kept on a warmer, but other than that the good was good. The music was nice and low enough you could talk. Our server was right on it and very nice !!

Magnificent experience. The blend of history, food, and general information about the area was first rate. The pace was excellent and there was plenty of time to shop a bit along the way for things that were recommended. No need to bring a water bottle since there were lots of refreshments along the way. We might have started with a round of introductions which would have gotten us to know something about each other. Minor point. Some places on the tour sheet where no visited and it might have been good to have the guide say a word or two about those. Excellent time had by all.

Our guide, Nick, was just the right amount of friendly. He knew what he was talking about but didn't try and make silly jokes. Just really nice. Each stop on the tour was a fun and new experience. We had a wonderful day.

My name is Denise Santacroce and I took my mother and husband on the Champagne Brunch cruise last Sun. Jan. 26th with a Cloud 9 gift voucher from the Doctors show. My husband is here for work until May and we are originally from Bath New York( Finger Lake area)and currently reside in Myrtle Beach SC and we absolutely love the water, beach , and being outdoors. My mother is 73 years old and is very active and wanted to get every min in sightseeing Champagne Brunch while in Calif for 2 weeks. So with out over exaggerating it certainly was the highlight of her visit with us. Thanks for making the priceless memory for her a dream come true and a first for her~ as well as myself leaving with a feeling of wanting to do this every weekend for the rest of my time here in Calif. I have been telling everyone I see, how beautiful the experience was and we will be taking friends again to take the Sunday Champagne Brunch cruise.

My husband and I enjoyed this experience and learned a lot. Our guide also said she learned things and had new experiences that she'd never had before.
We enjoyed tasting the various foods and getting a chance to ride around on the Gold Line Downtown for the first time. We couldn't believe that all these places were in Boyle Heights and that it's so close to Downtown L.A.
Our guide was super. She knew a lot about the history of early California. She'd called ahead to the places where we had samples to eat and they were ready when we got to them.

Our instructor was very knowledgeable and kind. She had an answer for all of the questions on the tour and was an absolute pleasure to listen to. She spoke eloquently and seemed very educated and culturally well rounded. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to enrich their relationship with Los Angeles.

This experience was a gift, until then we were unaware that this sort of thing was available.
We would definitely recommend it to others. It is a great way to find out about an area. I will now check to see the availability of these sorts of experiences in other cities.
I have lived in Southern California for many years and have been to Pasadena numerous times, but this was a real learning experience. Not only was the food excellent, but our guide was very knowledgeable about the area. It was evident that she also really enjoys her work. So not only did we enjoy great food, but learned a lot of "history". The group was small, only 7 of us, which I feel made the experience more enjoyable.

We had a very pleasant experience.
In regards to the Guide/Instructor/Pilot portion of questions, they really didn't apply as there was no interaction after an initial greeting to watch our step with anyone other than our waiter.
The waiter was just "ok", not great at refilling any of our drinks which consisted of the champagne, coffee and water.
