When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You'll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions and your experience with us begins!

  • Participants should be in reasonably good physical condition
  • Tours require a minimum of two people to run
  • Hiking poles, belt packs, and unlimited water are provided
  • Local, expert hiking guides plan the route and lead the way  
  • Routes and itinerary are customizable and subject to change

How long is the guided hike?

The hiking tour lasts half a day, which roughly ends up being between 3-4 hours long. Distance varies depending on which hiking tour is selected

Are there any age restrictions?

All ages are welcome.

Do I need to be in great shape?

This hiking tour is for all skill levels! Participants should be in reasonably good shape, as there is quite a bit of walking. But there are many hikes to choose from, from easy to advanced.

Do I need to bring food and water?

Unlimited complimentary water will be provided by your tour guide. It is encouraged to bring a light snack such as fruit or granola for the hike.

What else will the guide provide?

In addition to the water, your guide will provide route planning, hiking poles, belt packs, interesting commentary and an amazing time!

Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Experience Gifts.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations are allowed at least 72 hours prior with a $25.00 cancellation fee per person or a reschedule with no additional fees. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
