From the complexities of fooling large trout on tiny nymphs to dry-fly fishing under the most challenging of conditions, your guide will instruct and introduce you to the heart of fly fishing.

Your guide specializes in guiding in the famous Cheesman Canyon on the South Platte River, however they are permitted on many rivers including the Blue River, Colorado River, Williams Fork and Arkansas River. You also have the option of fishing on private water at Boxwood Gulch Ranch, Long Meadow Ranch, North Fork Guest Ranch or North Fork Meadows (additional fees will apply). Your guide will help you choose the best location for your trip depending on the time of year and current stream flows!
Your guide will not be fishing with you, they will focus their time on teaching and instructing so you can experience the joy of catching fish.

What To WearIt is recommended to dress for weather conditions and bring rain gear, a brimmed hat or cap, quick dry pants, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, insect repellent, a day pack, fishing vest and a water bottle.
Booking InformationFor this experience, it is recommended to request bookings 14 days in advance.
Cancellation PolicyPrior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9 Living's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have received a booking confirmation, rescheduling is allowed up to 15 days prior to the experience for no fee. If you reschedule 14 days or less from your trip date, a $25 service fee will apply. Failure to appear on your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.

What should I wear/bring?
Mountain weather can change suddenly, so it is recommended to dress in several layers so you can adjust with the changing conditions. A suggested equipment list includes: wool/fleece socks, fishing vest, long underwear, gloves, brimmed hat or cap, quick dry pants, rain gear, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, insect repellent, day pack or back pack, water bottle and any of your own equipment you'd like to use.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes, all participants must have a valid Colorado fishing license.
Is this weather dependent?
Yes, this experience takes places outdoors and is subject to weather. If your guide cancels the trip for weather you will reschedule directly with them.
