My experience with Virgin Experience Gifts was bad. I had planned a zip lining trip with my partner and it would have been perfect, had I booked it through the original vendor instead of this site. There were issues right from the get go.
1) The time and day slots offered on the Virgin Experience portal were not at all reflective of the availability on the actual zip lining site. It was a pain in the butt selecting times on this site and then working with a customer service rep for the zip lining place to get it changed to a time that worked better.
2) When I made the booking request through Virgin Experience Gifts, there site told me it could take up to 3 days to have my booking confirmed, which is already a lot, but then I waited SIX days and didn't hear a thing! I then had to frantically contact Virgin Experience Gifts 3 different ways in hopes of getting a response, and they FINALLY responded a full day later by finally confirming my booking, and not acknowledging the fact that it took more than TWICE as long as they stated on their site, with no apology or explanation for the issue. It was just a big headache, and actually getting the day set up felt like a chore. Wish I had just booked through the vendor.

Since our conversation, I can assure you that the calendar is up to date. Regarding your second concern, we are so sorry that we were not able to communicate updates about your reservation in a timely manner. We truly appreciate your patience and are delighted we could confirm you for your preferred date and time. I realize you took a chance on us, and I hope we could gain a second chance at a first impression.
Although you had issues booking, I hope that you were still able to have an amazing experience zip lining and I’d love to hear more about it.
