    Essential Information

    Duration
    This tandem hang gliding lesson lasts approximately 1-2 hours, but the actual flight time is around 12-15 minutes. Sometimes the flight can’t happen at the exact designated time slot due to wind or weather. So, the length onsite could vary slightly.

    What To Wear
    Wear close-toed shoes and comfortable athletic clothing suited for the weather.

    For this experience, our partners are taking extra measures to prevent any potential spread of COVID-19. These measures include, moving much of their check-in, waiver, and orientation processes to a virtual format. They will practice social distancing at each of their recreation centers, and all rental equipment and gear will be cleaned and sanitized after each use. These Covid-19 safety measures are subject to change.

    The tandem hang gliding lesson is available for ages 10 and up. The minimum weight limit is 75 lbs; maximum weight limit is 225 lbs.

    No experience necessary.

    What should I wear?

    Wear close-toed shoes and comfortable athletic clothing suited for the weather.

    What will the instructor provide?

    Your instructor will provide the hang gliding gear, instructions and an amazing time!

    Is the tandem hang gliding lesson handicapped accessible?

    Yes! Please let Cloud 9 Living know of any special needs at the time of booking so accommodations can be made.

    Can I bring a camera?

    Cameras or cell phones are not permitted to be brought up with the participant during their flight. Family and friends can take photos from the ground while the participant flies. Additionally, video packages are available for purchase directly through the experience provider once your have been confirmed. 

    Returns
    Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days.  All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.

    Exchanges
    Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Cloud 9 Living.

    Cancellation Policy

    Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, rescheduling or cancelling is permitted up at 72 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date, or to cancel and reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. As this is a highly weather-dependent experience, in the event your date is cancelled due to weather, no refunds will be given, but your instructor will assist you in rescheduling.
