Once in the air, you will take the controls and do the majority of the flying with your FAA certified flight instructor by your side every step of the way.
30 Minute Demo Flight is a basic introduction to flying in a Cessna 172. Your pilot will take you up to the skies and show you some of the basics of flight.
Flight Lessons are available in 40, 50, and 80 minute increments. 20 minutes of each lesson are dedicated to ground school. The rest of the time will be used for a hands-on flight in a Cessna 152.
The Fundamentals of Flying Course is perfect for those who are interested in getting a Private Pilot Rating but are unsure if it is definitely right for them. This package includes 3 Lessons. Each lesson consists of a 60 minute ground school followed by a 60 minute flight in a Cessna 172. Flight Maneuvers Handbook and First Flight Log are also included. The flight hours and ground school time acquired during the lessons can be applied towards the Private Pilot Rating if you decide to continue with training.

DurationDepends on the option selected. Please note that flight time is calculated from engine start to engine stop. This includes the time it takes to get from the ramp to the runway and back, before takeoff and landing.

Weather DependentThis experience is weather dependent. Always contact the Experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions. In the event of a weather cancellation, your pilot will work with you to reschedule your experience.
What To WearWear comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions; flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended. The aircraft is equipped with heating for winter, but there is no A/C in the summer months.
Booking InformationFor this experience, it is recommended to request bookings at least 5 days in advance.
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for this experience, Cloud 9 Living's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 72 hours prior to your experience with the experience provider directly. Failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is canceled due to inclement weather you will reschedule your experience directly with your experience provider.
Are the pilots certified?
Yes, you will be flying with a fully certified commercial pilot. The experience provider's pilots have over 20,000 hours of combined experience.
What airplane will I be flying in?
The 40, 50, and 80 minute Lessons take place in a Cessna 152.
The 30 Minute Demo Flight and Fundamentals of Flying Course take place in a Cessna 172.
