This was such a fun experience! It was so nice to be a tourist in my own city during this tour. Our guide, Mary Ann was incredible and shared information I never knew about places I thought I was familiar with. The food we tasted was incredible and I did not leave hungry. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

It was a fun night - the hotel ws great - the food good and the people I met were really nice - but the experience was a little over rated as the participants did not have time to do much inquiry on the mystery - I think it hooch have been a little more interactive with the individual participants had there been more time for that.

We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The actors were into their characters and the clues were challenging. Dinner was delicious, we had the chicken. Imagine our surprise when the killer was revealed and had been sitting next to us the whole evening. Great for date night, family events or a group of friends. Go have a Sherlock Holmes night.

Our tour guide Seth was incredible. Super knowledgeable and passionate about Philly and food and did a great job crafting us into a tour group. However some of the food was honestly a bit lackluster.

The Best Of Philly Food tour was really food. The food was perfect, although a lot of carbs. Perfect amount of history and knowledge of the city for it bring a food tour. Adam was a great tour guide! The pace was perfect.
Couple suggestions: list out the places we will be going to. My husband can only do minimal stairs so it's great to be able to research beforehand to see if the tour works for us. (On this tour there were only 2 places and both were accommodating)
When you go to the market, let the group know where to meet incase they get stuck behind the crowds of people.
Overall great job and fun food experience!

Ship was fully attended. As a result, it took a LONG time to feed everyone. That left little time to enjoy the outdoor decks.
The food was average to mediocre. And by the time we were invited to the buffet, there was little food available. The DJ chose one genre of music to play. No variety of music, to please various groups.
Add to this, the required $17 for parking...not worth it. Find another way to spend your money.

While I am excited to hear that the lunch cruise was a popular choice for that date, I do understand that this may have caused for a few delays. Our goal is always get guests out on exciting and memorable adventures. I am incredibly sorry to hear that this was not the case on your cruise.
I reached out to our partners regarding the delay in the food, and the wait for the buffet. They did let us know that they aim to make sure all guests are able to pass through the buffet line before removing the main course and providing the desserts. That being said, I am very sorry that there was a delay. I have shared your feedback with our partners, and we will look into ways to improve this.
In terms of the music, I apologize that the genre did not suite your taste. I hope that despite this, you were able to enjoy some fun dancing!
Parking can certainly be a pain. We do our best to note the pricing tends to vary between $10-$17 per day in your Confirmation Email, and understand that this can be a frustration.
I hope that despite these circumstances, it was an enjoyable evening spent with good company!

We had a lovely time -- this was a Mother's Day gift to my mom. Everyone on the staff was so nice and attentive, and the food was delicious. We will definitely recommend this to others. One thing we did not like was being near smokers outside on the deck.

The ship, your attendants and the food was exceptional. BUT...It was my wife's birthday and was hoping your cruise was going to make this very special for her. If you were going to book a bus load of high energy 8-10 year old's, this cruise should have been noted as age appropriate. We were not alone in that we couldn't hold a conversation with each other over the noise. All of us adults were scrambling to escape the loud music that was catered to the screaming children. It was made clear to us that profit was much more important to you than providing an exceptional experience that was promised and expected. I would not recommend this cruise to anyone under these circumstances.

We went to celebrate our 39th anniversary and it was disappointing....the food was very average and soft drinks cost extra..there were several big groups who took over everything....the music was very loud and for us not age appropriate. Do not recommend if you are older and not in a group.

Matt was a terrific guide who knew so much about the history of the city and how food has interwoven throughout that history. The stops and the food were terrific and we were lucky enough to have a sunny day for the tour (you will walk outside). While we walked roughly 2 miles, Matt's conversation and our full bellies made it feel like a casual stroll.

It was fun. We were told to meet outside the inner courtyard of the Sports Bar in the Reading Terminal Market, and we had a libation or two before going on the tour. Our guide Matt was engaging, and knowledgeable and our tour "mates" were a young couple from Reading and a trio from Bensalem. We set off on our tour (6 miles according to my wife's Fit Bit) and we had cheese curds and corn dog, hummus and babaghanoush and a bit of salad, and an amish donut at the Reading Market. Walked through Macy's, toured Del Frisco's, got bound up by eating a bunch of cheese at DiBruno's, and ended the tour at the Metropolitan Bakery. Liked the 20% discount at DiBruno's…..

The tour was excellent. Tour Guide Mary Ann was wonderful she made the trip worthwhile with her knowledge of the Architecture of the buildings we saw were excellent. All the stops for food were excellent. The amount of food was enough that we did not have to eat dinner that night.

I would give this experience 5/5 because of the amazing Urban Adventures Limited tour guide and experience alone, but the voucher from Cloud 9 told us to meet at UAL's business location, which was a 15 minute drive from where we were actually supposed to meet for the tour. Thankfully, an employee from UAL offered to drive us to the correct location which was not listed on the voucher from Cloud 9. Had it not been for the help from UAL, we would have missed the tour and wasted the money spent on it. 1/5 stars for Cloud 9, 5/5 stars for Urban Adventures Limited.

The guide was personable and knowledgeable of the area and the food. Each restaurant we visited was great as we sampled beer, dumplings, pizza (exceptional) and Malaysian tea and skewers. This was our third food tour and the best.

The food was delicious and the tour guide was very friendly and vibrant throughout the whole tour. We have lived in the Philly suburbs for many years and have traveled to Center City routinely. We never knew the interesting nuggets of information she had to share. Highly recommend this tour to native Philadelphians and tourists!

MaryAnn was excellent. Overall enjoyable tour. Probably about 3 mile walk, which was okay for us but might be a lot for some. We tried 3 vendors in the market, 2 outside for cheese and gelato. Enjoyed all the tastings, but I can't say they were "gourmet." The cheese and gelato were excellent. Inside the market, we tasted a corn dog with cheese curls, small mediterranean sampler and an Amish donut. Again, it was good, but not what I would call Decadent Gourmet. Also, for some reason, I expected a small glass of beer or wine at each stop. Water was provided, however.

Even on a cold, windy, rainy day we had fun and sampled some great Philly food. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city, the food, the places we visited, and historic architecture. We plan to revisit some of the places we ate. We are very interested in eating at DelFrisco's ( a real find on the tour).

My boyfriend and I were celebrating an anniversary, and I couldn't think of what to get him. I googled unique anniversary gifts, and Cloud 9 Living popped up. I was worried I was not going to get my date I requested because it was last-minute, but I did and I am so glad we went. It was an experience we will never forget, and will do it over and over again! Cloud 9 Living rocks and ziplines!! Lol

I gave my wife this food tour of Philadelphia as a Christmas present. We booked our tour to correspond with an overnight stay in the city. The spring weather was spectacular on the day of the tour. Our group consisted of 10 people of various ages. The walking pace was fine and no one had trouble keeping up with the tour leader. My wife & I enjoyed the non-food stops at Macy's and the former First Pennsylvania Bank building for architectural sightseeing. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this tour to anyone, whether they are familiar with Philadelphia or not.

Rochelle was our tour guide for the Decadent Gourmet Tour in Philly, and she was incredible. She knew so much about the food, artwork and history of the points we stopped at along the tour. There was some confusion with directions as road work was being done. The food was good and the weather was beautiful. Checking in was a little confusing as I brought confirmation papers as directed, but they were looking for a voucher? Thank you for introducing us to new experience.

Everything was very good. The only small problem I had was the paperwork that I was supposed to print and take along was not the right paperwork according to the people at the cruise. They took care of it very quickly and effectively though, and everything was fine. Had a good time.

Overall I was very pleased with the experience. It didn't seem like the restaurant/food stops knew exactly who we were when we first arrived, though. This could also be due to the fact that staff changes from day to day, but it didn't come across like the tour company and food stops had established relationships. At DiBruno Bros, it would have also been nice to pair the cheeses with crackers or some sort of bread. Handing out the water bottles in the beginning of the tour was a nice touch.

Virginia was great and with the crowds we can appreciate how hard it was to keep the group together and fend off non-participants from joining in for the food hand outs. But it was nothing special, just a different perspective on what we already knew, 8 of our 12 were from the area. We went to the Reading Terminal market before the tour so... You could better communicate the tour ends at 20th and Samson. And if driving, parking in a lot would be required, due to all meters maxing out at 2 hours. By the way, our tour ended in 2.5 hours. I think the gelato could have been a little more generous -- sample tastes was a little chintzy. Booking questions don't really apply to us since we received it as gift, however, I thought on your site it said the tour was $75/pp and the handout at the end said was $35. I believe our gifter paid around $100, and I think $35 is still a bit steep for what we got. Plus it was bummer to pay another $26 for parking. Although a foodie, the other tours do not appeal at the prices stated.

Our tour guide, Rochelle, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She not only knew a lot of info about each stop on the tour she was able to point out many interesting facts about locations we observed going from place to place. A great tour I recommend it to all who can do the walking (there is a good deal between some locations).

Our guide made the experience! She was enthusiastic and friendly, offering great historical and informative anecdotes! Even as a local I learned something new.
Our guide's apparent, excellent relationship with local vendors afforded us some terrific "behind the scene" encounters.
I highly recommend this particular tour for travelers who would like to get a quick glimpse and taste of center city Philadelphia. The venues were unique to the city and we were treated well by each.
Oh, the food was yummy! Stops were well thought and prompted excitement for the next.

Ryan was fun. The food was okay. I'm not sure why I expected the best of the best food-wise. Maybe that expectation left me feeling overall disappointment with the tour. The tomato pie felt educational and was interesting, if not delicious. The doughnut and pretzel were both very good. The cheesesteak (Zio's) was the biggest disappointment with dry meat, barely noticeable cheese, crunchy onions.... scored very low on the flavor scale. For all things having to be within walking distance of one another, I assume it was the best that could be done for the tour.

Guides were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and attentive. It was fun to learn about stuff in our own backyard so-to-speak. Would easily recommend to others with sole caveat that there is more walking than implied. This could be important for someone to know who has difficulty walking and standing for several hours.

The tour should be renamed, We started off with a greek tasting plate than had a taste of dried asian pear, followed by a dark Chocolate cake truffle. that was the only chocolate in the entire tour. all at the Reading terminal market. Than we ventured outside, walking 7 blocks with a stop at Macys and Del Monaco restaurant, our tour guide, Rochelle, gave us some history and fun facts about each place. At DelBruno Brothers market we tasted 4 kinds of cheeses, crackers would have been nice to accompany the cheeses, our guide was very knowable about the entire process of how cheese is made. We also had about 15 minutes to shop at this store, and the cheese guy was very nice and told us a lot of info about the cheese.
the tour ended at a Gelato shop for a tasting of 6 flavors, starting with a spicy pepper/honey suckle ruin my taste buds for the next 5 flavors, also I don't drink or enjoy the taste of alcohol which 2 of the flavors had in them.
Over all the tour guide was nice and certainly enjoyed her job. I was just expecting more chocolate, guess I will have to try the Chocolate tour next time. It is always nice walking around Philadelphia enjoying it history and many different things it has to offer.

The lunch cruise was wonderful! The staff was pleasant and helpful...the emcee was very good and the music was thoroughly enjoyable. Also, the food was absolutely delicious. We had a fantastic time on our tour! We loved Virginia, our tour guide, who was upbeat, knowledgeable, and only leading her second tour! We had no idea! The only little glitch was that no one told us where to meet for the tour either fromCloud 9 or City Food Tours. We called after business hours (on a weekend, since our tour was on a Sunday). Thankfully someone called us back quickly, but we felt the location should have been sent in an email. Great time! We'd do it again!

The food tour of Philly was great. We had a wonderful time experiencing good food, unique glimpses of center city and a good amount of history along the way. Our tour guide deserves a lot of credit. he was outstanding, not only did he know the restaurants and the history of the foods, but he also knew a lot about Philly, in particular the history of many buildings in center city. Moreover, he was delightful. He was charming, quick and witty throughout the tour, a true pleasure for my girlfriend and I to listen to.

The meeting location should have a sign or symbol showing people where the tour will be meeting. My boyfriend and I arrived about 25 minutes early to be on the safe side and asked 4 or 5 different people if they knew where the food tour met. No one knew what we were talking about. I wasn't sure I was in the right place. Luckily, I saw someone with a flyer for the tour and was reassured that I was in the right place.
On a happier note, Jamie was an amazing tour guide. He shared a lot of Philadelphia history and brought us to some awesome eateries. I would recommend his tours enthusiastically!

The experience itself was well thought out and a good sampling of what the city can have to offer, however having lived here 2 years, I already discovered most of these "hidden gems" on my own. The tour guide was nice and informative and the food provided was great, so I learned a bit more about architecture in the city, even if the food items weren't much of a novelty.

I was surprised when I learned that booking the tour directly through cityfoodtours.com was MUCH cheaper than booking through Cloud 9. The experience was nice but less than I expected. I didn't anticipate the guide handing me a bottle of water out of her cooler and that being my only beverage on the tour. I also didn't anticipate the small portion sizes and splitting dishes with total strangers (cheese fries). Our tour consisted of a bottle of water, a slice of tomato pie, a small soft pretzel, half a cheese steak w/ an order of cheese fries split amongst 4 people, a small chocolate covered pretzel pulled from the communal bag, and a single cake truffle. I expected much more for $55 than this. The tour was enjoyable and informative, but for a foodie, it was disappointing.

It was the perfect Fall day. Anthony was our talented server/vocalist. The captain was knowledgeable and the cruise showed the brighter side and gloomier parts of the waterfront, both PA and NJ. Wishing for a renaisance.
The food was OK, but just OK. Amanda, however, was a lovely person.
This was a gift and we would definitely do it again.

The booking processing was confusing as I had a gift certificate for a Tour for 2 so I thought I needed one tour when I needed two. When I called them, they said they would fix and send new email. Never got the email so I was nervous that my party wouldn't be able to go. It was fine when I got there, but I didn't know that I would be.
The guide was just OK.. Not very energetic or engaging. Really felt like we were being shuffled from place to place. Granted it was a large group, but often was in the front and there were no attempts at engagement. I really wanted to know what we were doing before hand and there wasn't a list of possible places on the website. Also beverage should have been included. We were each given a bottle of water at the beginning of the tour. If I had known that was it for the tour with many carbs to follow, I would have brought more. Splurge for a pitcher of water at each place or at least at the pizza and cheesesteak place. Tour ends at a different place than where started. That is fine, but there assumption is people know how to get back to where they parked etc. again, just something people might want to know.

There was plenty of time at each of the food stops for learning, tasting, and relaxing. It didn't feel rushed at all. Length of tour at 2.5 hours was just right. Guide/owner knew his stuff and was outgoing and vocal.
