  • Embark on an adventure-filled getaway with this overnight camping and whitewater rafting adventure. Get ready to relax at your campsite under the stars, but not before rafting some of the most exciting rapids in the Southeast.

    Day 1
Kick things off with the beauty of the Chattooga River and the camaraderie of a paddling trip along Class I through III rapids. The rolling whitewater keeps you on your toes while the rugged terrain provides an exceptional backdrop of natural beauty. After a buffet lunch and more rafting, your personal gear will be waiting at the campsite where you can enjoy an afternoon of swimming, hiking or fishing (SC or GA fishing license required), followed by a steak dinner catered around a campfire. Then climb into your comfortable tent and fall asleep under the stars, sun-tired and happy.

    Day 2
Awaken to a delicious bacon and egg breakfast the next morning. Fuel up because the next section of the Chattooga River is no joke. Get ready to tackle the Southeast’s most fabled set of rapids—the Five Falls. These adrenaline pumping Class IV rapids are strung together over a 1/4-mile gorge, where the river drops more than 75 feet through Entrance, Corkscrew, Crack-In-the-Rock, Jawbone and Sock ’em Dog.
