Got to Anna Maria Island early to see the sights, have a nice lunch, booked a hotel room, but got a call at 3:25 that the cruise was cancelled because there weren’t enough people signed up for the cruise. So that was a bust. Rescheduled for the following week. This time, we just drove down, did the cruise and left. The cruise was fun although it was cloudy and the sunset was also a bust.

We moved to FL from the west and have never been out on the water. This 2 hour cruise was fantastic! The host was a life-long resident of Anna Maria Island and knew the waters like the back of his hand. He was easy going and had so much information to share, but there was also plenty of time for just quiet enjoyment of the water and the beauty around it. The dolphins were hard to come by the day we took the cruise, as it was unusually cold and also low tide, but that made the host strive even harder to ensure we had a great time. We saw a bald eagle perched on a wooden post just a few feet from the boat, tons of pelicans and egrets as well. But the best was a rookery for many of the birds, all nestled in trees on an island together. We felt like we had the best experience ever. Totally worth the price. And we plan to do it again!!

The set up and format was great, the mystery was well written, the company at our table was friendly and fun, the hostess was very nice, helpful and warm. The acting was ok, a little over done for me, but they held my interest. The food was good, the only issue was where we sat, such that we had to turn around awkwardly and uncomfortably all evening.
